Tony Kart, a long established brand of the karting world, presents its racing team and calendar for 2013. The official Team will take part in all CIK-FIA title series in KF, KF Junior and KZ1, in all events of the WSK Euro Series, some matches of the Master Series, plus international events like the Winter Cup, the WSK Final Cup and the Las Vegas SuperNationals (USA). And the Racing Team's drivers line-up has also been defined.
In KZ the “green” squad will be led by the 2-time World Champion and 4-time European Champion, Marco Ardigò. A top spot also for the Belgian driver Rick Dreezen, a star of the WSK Eruoe Series, in which he won the title in 2011 and placed 2nd in 2012.
Next to them the team lines up two younger drivers, eager to do well: Mirko Torsellini and defending KF1 World champion Flavio Camponeschi, at his debut with shifter karts.
In KF Tony Kart confirms Takashi Kasai and the Macao-born driver Andy Chang, both of whom have relocated to Europe to best face the racing season. The official KF quartet is completed by the Pole Karol Basz and the United States driver Logan Sargeant. The first of the two is an absolute novelty for the Racing Team, since he has never raced with Tony Kart material. Instead, Sargeant is making his entry on the team after several seasons with Ward Racing, with whom he acquired solid experience with Tony Kart-Vortex material.
All events will also line up the ultra-young Mick Betsch: the German driver debuted with the Racing Team last season and in 2013 will compete in KF Junior for his first full international season with the Tony Kart-Vortex colors. All these drivers will be battling with the Racer EVK and the Krypton KSK, the latest evolution chassis by Tony Kart, propelled by new homologation Vortex engines.
