In the second round of the WSK Super Master Series, influenced by the rain and the difficult track conditions, our engines got numerous podiums in the qualifying heats, but the important results faded away in Sunday's finals.

The 2024 season continues with the second round of the WSK Super Master Series, influenced by the rain starting from Friday.

KZ2 – The VTZ engine, which is used in the category of shifter karts, gets two Top-3 finishes during the qualifying heats with Tom Leuillet (Tony Kart Racing Team) and Marijn Kremers (Tony Kart Racing Team), as well as a fastest lap thanks to the Marijn. Kremers fights also for first place in Prefinal A on Sunday morning, but an off-track incident stops him from aiming for victory despite the fastest lap at the end of the race.

In the final, Kremers competed for the top positions. The Dutch driver closed the weekend immediately behind the top five drivers. Francesco Celenta (Tony Kart Racing Team) was the second driver in the rankings with a Vortex engine, after having recovered 15 positions in the standings during the qualifying heats. He is followed by Nicola Rossini (Tony Kart Racing Team) and by Tom Leuillet.

OK – In the Senior category, the VTS unit gets two podiums in the qualifying heats thanks to Kai Rillaerts (Tony Kart Racing Team), among the best ten in the intermediate rankings at the end of the prefinals and the third fastest driver in the warm-up session on Sunday morning. In the final, David Walther (Tony Kart Racing Team) stood out from the group and recovered 6 positions to get sixth place at the end of the race. Tiziano Monza (Tony Kart Racing Team) gained 18 positions from the start of the race and he was second in the rankings among the drivers powered by the Vortex engines. Thomas Quince (Tony Kart Racing Team), Rillaerts and Xavier Avramides (Tony Kart Racing Team) also took part in the main final.

OKJ – The weekend begins with Joel Pohjola producing the second-best time (Tony Kart Racing Team) in the second qualifying group and continued with a series of 8 podiums in the qualifying heats. In the final, Scott Kin Lindblom (Tony Kart Racing Team), Joel Pohjola and Scott Marsh (Tony Kart Racing Team) started from the first rows, with the Swedish driver who remained in the Top 10 for the entire race and got the best result among the drivers with the VTJ engine. Sebastian Lehtimaki (Tony Kart Racing Team) recovered a total of 13 positions and finished the race among the first fifteen, as well as his teammate Scott Marsh. The general ranking continues with Ilie Tristan Crisan (Tony Kart Racing Team) and Joel Pohjola.

MINI – The VTM unit gets two Top-5 results in the qualifying heats of MINI Gr.3 and a third place in the prefinal on Sunday morning thanks to the performances of Lucas Bonhomme (Jana Racing) and Leonardo Gorski (Tony Kart Racing Team). The two young drivers, together with Olivier Sini (Tony Kart Racing Team), take part in the final on Sunday afternoon.
