11 August 2025

On the Danish circuit of Rødby, the OTK Kart Group engine division takes the pole position in the OKJ category with Mateo Rivals (Tony Kart Racing Team) and wins the final with Ilie Tristan Crisan (Tony Kart Racing Team).

OKJ – In a weekend featured by variable weather conditions, the Vortex VTJ remains firmly at the top of the rankings and triumphs in the Sunday's final, in a category with over 80 participants. The drivers powered by our engine start the weekend in the best possible way thanks to Mateo Rivals (Tony Kart Racing Team) taking the pole position, Henri-Constant Kumpen (Tony Kart Racing Team) finishing fourth, and Ilie Tristan Crisan (Tony Kart Racing Team) finishing fifth in the qualifyings. In the qualifying heats, the sequence of positive results continues, with not less than five wins, six top-3 finishes, and two fastest laps.

On the last day of the Danish event, which was characterized by rain, the VTJ unit wins the Super Heat A, after which it is the absolute protagonist of the final with Crisan, able to immediately take the lead at the start and to perfectly manage the gap gained in the early laps.

Also on the starting grid of the final race of the weekend , we find Rivals, Gilles Herman (Tony Kart Racing Team) – performing a 11-position comeback – Julian Frasnelli (Tony Kart Racing Team), Antonio Reginaldo Pizzonia Neto (Tony Kart Racing Team), and Kumpen.

OK – The Vortex VTS also starts the final round of the championship with a positive start, signing the second fastest time in Group 3 of the qualifyings, thanks to the performance of Jindřich Pešl (Tony Kart Racing Team), thus gaining two victories, two second places, and a fastest lap in the qualifying heats. Even in wet conditions, our engine proves its performance obtaining a fourth place (and the corresponding best lap) in Super Heat A.

The final initially sees Pešl running in third position after a brilliant start from the front rows. However, the Vortex driver is forced to give up a few positions in the middle stages of the race, before finally throwing in the towel. An accident on the first lap, on the other hand, soon ruins the race for Thomas Pradier (Tony Kart Racing Team), who has distinguished himself in the Champions of the Future Euro Series the previous week with a fine victory in the final. Markas Šilkūnas (Tony Kart Racing Team) has also attended the race.

Academy-Senior – The third and final round marked the end of the FIA Karting Academy Trophy-Senior, the series promoted by the International Automobile Federation (FIA), which sees OTK Kart Group at the forefront with the supply of the Exprit Kart chassis and Vortex Engines to all participants. Sunday's final sees Yuzuki Sato (Japan) as the winner, ahead of Wojciech Woda (Poland) and Niklas Vejen (Denmark). With this result, the Japanese driver is crowned champion in the “Senior” category, ahead of Woda in second place and Riccardo Ferrari (Italy) in third.
