MINI Gr.3: Bogdan Cosma-Cristofor dominates the race

Tyres: Vega

  • The final sees an intense and exciting duel between Bogdan Cosma-Cristofor (Team Driver Racing Kart – KR – IAME) and William Calleja (Babyrace Driver Academy – Parolin – IAME) for the victory throughout the final. Until, in the final laps, Cristian Blandino (CRG Racing Team – CRG – TM), Riven Esteves (Babyrace Driver Academy – Parolin – IAME) and  Ilie Tristan Crisan (Tony Kart Racing Team – Tony Kart – Vortex) also join.

  • Taking advantage of the new rivals, Bogdan manages to take a good margin over his pursuers and thus manages to win the final. Calleja manages to keep the second position, while Tristan Crisan manages to take the lowest step of the podium. Fourth Esteves, fifth Blandino.

  • However, a twist after the podium awards: Tristan Crisan receives a 5 second penalty for an incorrect maneuver and falls eighth. Esteves gets the third position, while Blandino the fourth.

  • Positive fifth position for Andrea Manni (Babyrace Driver Academy – Parolin – IAME). Valerio Viapiana (Team Driver Racing Kart – KR – IAME) recovers 7 positions and finishes sixth, while Alessandro Truchot (AVRacing – Parolin – IAME) gains 8 and is seventh.

  • Qualifying pole sitter Pietro Bagutti (Gamoto – EKS – TM) is ninth. Daniil Kutskov (Babyrace Driver Academy – Parolin – IAME) gains 18 positions and finishes tenth.

  • Out of the Top 10 Bosco Arias Chavarri (Team Driver Racing Kart – KR – IAME), dropped 11th. Maxim Bobreshov (Babyrace Driver Academy – Parolin – IAME) and Noah Baglin (iKart – KR – IAME) retired following an accident in the first laps, which involved the “slow”.

MINI Gr.3 U10: first victory of Daniel Miron Lorente

Tyres: Vega

  • After taking the lead in the intermediate classification at the end of Saturday, Daniel Miron Lorente (Team Driver Racing Kart – KR – IAME) did not disappoint in Sunday's final. The Spaniard is perfect at the start and manages the riders behind him, to then ideally shift into an extra gear and thus conquer his first victory in the category in an international competition.

  • David Moscardi (AMC Tech Racing – Birel Art – TM) was good at getting out of the tussle in the first laps, setting off in pursuit of Miron Lorente. The Italian is considerably close to the leader of the race, however he is unable to have the push necessary to overtake him. Nonetheless, he is satisfied with the second final position.

  • Three-way battle for the lowest step of the podium between Oleksandr Legenkyi (Team Driver Racing Kart – KR – IAME), Lorenzo Di Pietrantonio (Babyrace Driver Academy – Parolin – IAME) and Leonardo Gorski (Babyrace Driver Academy – Parolin – IAME). At the last corner, the Ukrainian takes advantage of the duel between his two companions and conquers third place, after having recovered 12 positions.

  • As mentioned, Di Pietrantonio and Gorski hinder each other, thus losing the chance to get the Babyrace Driver Academy team on the podium. However, the 9 positions recovered by the Italian from the start should be underlined, as well as the 5-second post-race penalty assigned to the Pole for an incorrect manoeuvre.

  • Antoine Venant (Kidix Driver Performance – KR – IAME) finishes in sixth position, but he too is penalized by 5 seconds for the front nose in the incorrect position.

  • The author of the pole position Julian Frasnelli (AVRacing – Parolin – TM) is fifth, followed by Xavier Lazaro (DR – DR – TM), sixth, Albert Tamm (Babyrace Driver Academy – Parolin – IAME), seventh, Gabriele Iacomelli (Drago Corse Racing Team – EKS – TM), eighth, Drew Walz (Babyrace Driver Academy – Parolin – IAME), ninth, and Jean Poujol (Babyrace Driver Academy – Parolin – IAME), tenth.

  • While he was vying for the top positions, Niccolò Perico (Energy Corse – Energy Corse – TM) spun and restarted from the back: the Italian finished the race 22nd. Back also Sebastian Eskandari Marandi (Tony Kart Racing Team – Tony Kart – Vortex), 15th. Henri Kumpen (Baby Race Driver Academy – Parolin – IAME) did not start.
