12 July 2020

The Japanese wins the second race in a row with another perfect overtake after studying his opponent throughout the race.

Tyres: Vega

  • Kean Nakamura Berta (Team Driver Racing Kart - KR - IAME) wins the first round of the WSK Euro Series by replicating the same script seen in Adria a week ago. Even the opponent, Dmitry Matveev (Energy Corse _Energy Corse - TM Racing), is the same as on that occasion, and also this time he can do nothing against the Japanese who went past him at the hairpin at the end of the straight on the last lap. In the following corners, Nakamura manages to create a gap that Matveev is no longer able to close, but the Russian still deserves praise, given that his weekend had started without setting a valid time in qualifying

  • Jan Przyrowsky (AV Racing - Parolin - TM Racing) stays in the contention for the win until the 5th lap, when he loses second place in favor of Nakamura. The Polish driver finishes third anyway, very close to the two ahead.

  • Christian Costoya Sanabria (CRG - CRG - TM Racing), the revelation of the weekend that started from the second spot on the grid in the final couldn't step onto the podium. The Spaniard also wins in the Prefinal, but in the decisive race his ambitions are almost immediately crushed at the first hairpin, after which he finds himself in 27th position due to a collision with an opponent.

  • The rest of the top 10 is made up only of drivers who manage to improve their starting position. Below the podium comes Guillaume Bouzar (Parolin Racing Kart - Parolin - TM Racing), who recovers nine positions, ahead of Keeren Thijs (Pantano Team - KR - IAME) who recovers six instead. Tiziano Monza (Team Driver Racing Kart - KR -TM Racing) sixth and with 4 positions recovered precedes Marcus Saeter (Revolution Motorsport - Energy - TM Racing), +8, Mark Kastelic (Team Driver Racing Kart - KR - TM Racing), + 1, Clement Outran (Revolution Motorsport - Energy - TM Racing) +10 and Kai Sorensen (Tony Kart - Tony Kart - Vortex), +2.

  • Francesco Amendola (Revolution Motorsport - Energy - TM Racing) and James Egozi (Tony Kart - Tony Kart - Vortex) lose positions to finish out of the top ten, as well as René Lammers (Baby Race Driver Academy - Parolin - TM Racing) who ends 22nd after starting third.

  • The final started without Maciej Gladysz (Parolin Racing Kart - Parolin - TM Racing), third at the end of the Qualifying Heats but involved in an accident in the Prefinal.
