[caption id="attachment_267717" align="alignnone" width="620"] Pedro Hiltbrand (Tony Kart Racing Team - Tony Kart / Vortex)[/caption]
- Let's start with those who lead the race for 17 laps out of 20: Joseph Turney (Tony Kart Racing Team - Tony Kart / Vortex). The Englishman starts off very strong and seems to be unreachable until halfway through the race. From the 10th lap onwards, however, his advantage is reduced. So the Englishman begins to implement a defensive strategy that his supporters (and the stewards) will define within the limits of correctness, but which the opponents see as too obstructive. The fact remains that 3 laps from the end, after a couple of overtaking and counter-overtaking between the English and the Russian Kirill Smal (Energy Corse - Energy / TM Racing), Smal push Turney who loses positions and finishes 6th.- Kirill Small will take a 5 second penalty for that contact. Too bad, because the Russian was a real ruler of the category throughout the weekend and even in the final he managed to get close to the leader, playing for the victory. After the penalty, he finishes 7th.- Pedro Hiltbrand (Tony Kart Racing Team - Tony Kart / Vortex) wins. The Spaniard initially settled in Turney, but then had to give way to his opponents. However, he manages to return to the top positions where he defends himself hard against Harry Thompson (Sauber Karting Team - KR / Iame) who on a couple of occasions push him. The stewards decide not to proceed with sanctions against both. And Thompson finishes 4th.
- Behind Hiltbrand, two drivers conclude that do nothing wrong in the chaos of the last laps of the race: Taylor Barnard (Rosberg Racing Academy - KR / Iame) and Dilano Van't Hoff (Forza Racing - Exprit / TM Racing).
- Edoardo Villa (TBKart - TBKart - Iame) surprises everyone. The Italian, who does not usually take the WSK stage, lives a weekend among the best drivers with an incredible consistency of results and without suffering the pressure and stress of being among the big names in this category, with the TBKart material that proves to be very fast, but that only he brings to the track, without the support of even a teammate. Villa closes 5th, very good at staying calm when many lose their heads.
- Top 10 is completed by Enzo Trulli (KR Motorsport - KR / Iame), 8th, Robert De Hann (Energy Corse - Energy / TM Racing), 9th, and Laurens Van Hoepen (Rosber Racing Academy - KR / Iame), 10 ° able to score a comeback of 14 positions.
- Disappointment for James Wharton (Parolin Racing Kart - Parolin / TM Racing) and Andrea Kimi Antonelli (KR Motorsport - KR / Iame). The first, winner of one of the two pre-finals, finishes only 11th, while the second even reaches 18th, but his best lap (48.785) almost 4 tenths better than that of the winner, suggests how much he was unable to capitalize on his great speed.
- Bitter day also for Thomas Ten Brinke (Ricky Flynn Motorsport - Kosmic / Vortex). The fresh Dutch world champion OKJ had the pace of the first but is forced to retire.
