Track activity continues for the second round of the WSK Super Master Series at the La Conca circuit. Following the first day of Friday, in which the qualifying sessions and the first qualifying heats took place, on Saturday all the remaining heats for the three categories racing were held: OK, OKJ and MINI. The starting grids for Sunday's pre-finals are therefore decided.

OK: Artem Severiukhin takes the lead

Tyres: LeCont

  • With two wins and two second places in four heats, Artem Severiukhin (Ward Racing - Tony Kart - Vortex) gains the absolute first position. So, after setting sixth time in qualifying, the Ward Racing bishop will start first in Prefinal A.

  • Tuukka Taponen (Tony Kart Racing Team - Tony Kart - Vortex) climbs a position and takes second place overall. Thanks to a victory, two second places and a third, the Finnish driver will start from pole in Prefinal B.

  • Excellent day for Andrea Kimi Antonelli (KR Motorsport - KR - IAME), who ends his heats with a victory, two second places and a fourth. These results allow him to earn third place overall, thus recovering seven positions compared to qualifying and preparing to start from the first row in Prefinal A.

  • Positive results also for Nikola Tsolov (DPK Racing - KR - IAME), who after eighth place in qualifying finds himself fourth thanks to two wins, a fourth place and a fifth. The DPK Racing standard bearer will join Taponen in the front row in Prefinal B. His teammate Emerson Fittipaldi (DPK Racing - KR - IAME) slips further back, who after the seventh time set on Friday is 22nd in the general classification , also thanks to a retirement in his last heat.

  • Brando Badoer (KR Motorsport - KR - IAME) is the author of a good comeback, which sees him gain 10 positions with respect to qualifying and then move to fifth place overall, a result that will allow him to take third place in Prefinal A.

  • After Friday's pole position and victory in his first two heats, Arvid Lindblad (KR Motorsport - KR - IAME) loses the lead and slips to sixth overall, also thanks to a five-second penalty in a race that did so go back from sixth place to 12th. The KR Motorsport bishop will still have the opportunity to try to get back in the lead by starting third in Prefinal B.

  • Good comeback for Rafael Camara (KR Motorsport - KR - IAME), who returns to the top of the standings with the seventh place overall. Immediately behind him a constant Norton Andreasson (Ward Racing - Tony Kart - Vortex) capable of taking the victory of a heat.

  • Joseph Turney (Tony Kart Racing Team - Tony Kart - Vortex) closes the top ten, improving compared to the 12th place obtained in qualifying, and Karol Pasiewicz (Kidix - KR - IAME), who confirms his competitive position after 11th time conquered Friday.

  • Tymoetusz Kucharczyk (Birel ART Racing - RK - TM Racing) recovered ten positions in qualifying, expressing his speed again. Martinius Stenshorne (Leclerc by Lennox Racing - Birel ART - TM Racing) also proves to have good potential with a second, a third and a fourth place. However, the standard bearer of the Leclerc by Lennox Racing team slips back from the fourth position obtained in qualifying due to a retirement in his penultimate heat and in fact finds himself 12th.

  • Another driver who is losing ground compared to qualifying and who suffers the blow of a retirement is Ugo Ugochukwu (Sauber Orlen Karting Team - KR - IAME), who after having obtained the fifth best time on Friday is 21st. Even more unfortunate Igor Cepil (KR Motorsport - KR - IAME), who, following a qualifying closed in second place overall and a victory in his first heat, places himself 35th in the general classification due to two retirements and a lack of participation in the his three races on Saturday.

  • The reigning world champion Callum Bradshaw (Tony Kart Racing Team - Tony Kart - Vortex), 29th, and Edoardo Ludovico Villa (TBKart - TBKart - TM Racing), 32nd, gain 11 positions each compared to the qualification.

OKJ: Akshay Bohra dominates the day

Tyres: Vega

  • With four wins out of four heats disputed, Friday's pole-man Akshay Bohra (KR Motorsport - KR - IAME) remains unbeaten and will therefore start first in Prefinal A.

  • Unchanged position compared to the qualification also for Alexander Gubenko (Tony Kart Racing Team - Tony Kart - Vortex), who still finds himself second in the general classification after having conquered three wins and a third place in his four races. The Russian driver will therefore start from pole in Prefinal B.

  • James Egozi (Tony Kart Racing Team - Tony Kart - Vortex) is the author of a good comeback, climbing 11 positions compared to the qualifying and finding himself third overall. With a victory, a second place, a fourth and a sixth, the American standard bearer will join Bohra in the front row in Prefinal A.

  • Positive day also for Alex Powell (KR Motorsport - KR - IAME) who gains four positions compared to qualifying and moves to fourth place overall. The driver in orbit Mercedes loses the third place in the general classification due to a penalty of ten seconds in a heat that sees him relegate from sixth place to 12th, but thanks to a victory, a second place and a third, he will start from front row in Prefinal B.

  • Maxim Rehm (Ricky Flynn Motorsport - Kosmic - Vortex) is the protagonist again, recovering seven positions compared to qualifying and is in fifth place overall. On the other hand, Matheus Ferreira (KR Motorsport - KR - IAME), who is just behind, in sixth place, lost two positions. Both drivers will start third in their respective pre-finals.

  • After a qualifying below expectations, Rashid Al Dhaheri (Parolin Motorsport - Parolin - TM Racing) returns to the top of the standings, finishing seventh in the overall standings and thus recovering nine positions. The winner of the WSK Champions Cup will start from the second row in Prefinal A to try to move even further ahead for the final.

  • Constant performance for Ean Eyckmans (Kosmic Racing Department - Kosmic - Vortex), who confirmed his competitive position with eighth place overall. Immediately behind him is Julius Dinesen (KSM Official Racing Team - Tony Kart - Vortex), who with an excellent comeback is among the first after setting the 22nd time in qualifying.

  • Closing the top ten is David Walther (Koski Motorsport - Tony Kart - Vortex), who instead falls back from the third position conquered in qualifying. The Danish driver imposes himself in two heats, but one of these victories is removed due to two penalties received that relegate him to 16th place. Another excited heat sees him finish 14th and for this Walther is unable to stay in the top three, but he will certainly have the opportunity to try to get back to the pre-final starting from the fifth box.

  • The top 15 is completed by Dion Gowda (Ricky Flynn Motorsport - Kosmic - Vortex), Miguel Costa (Sauber Orlen Karting Team - KR - IAME), Anatoly Khavalkin (Team Komarov - Tony Kart - TM Racing), Coskun Irfan (KR Motorsport - KR - IAME) and Oscar Wurz (Exprit Racing Team - Exprit - Vortex).

  • Harley Keeble (Tony Kart Racing Team - Tony Kart - Vortex) is placed just outside, in 16th position, thus completing an exceptional comeback as well as the best in the category. The Tony Kart bishop gains 38 positions with respect to qualifying and is preparing to start eighth in Prefinal B. Also noteworthy are the comebacks of one of the protagonists of the first round of Adria Kirill Kutsov (KR Motorsport - KR - IAME), 20th overall, and the reigning world champion Freddie Slater (Ricky Flynn Motorsport - Kosmic - Vortex), 21st. The two drivers respectively gain 26 and 29 positions with respect to qualifying.

  • On the contrary, Yuanpu Cui (KR Motorsport - KR - IAME), who is 18th in the general classification and loses 11 positions compared to the qualification despite two placements in the top three, and Maciej Gladysz (Sauber Orlen Karting Team - KR - IAME), who lost 27 positions due to a retirement in his penultimate heat and a failure to participate in his last.

  • Unfortunately both Kean Nakamura Berta (Forza Racing - Exprit - TM Racing) and Thijs Keeren (Birel ART Racing - Birel ART - TM Racing) do not compete in any heats due to injuries.

  • With three wins and a second place in his four heats, Matias Orjuela (Parolin Motorsport - Parolin - TM Racing) takes the lead in the general classification and will therefore start first in Prefinal A.

  • Excellent day for Dries Van Langendonk (Birel ART Racing - Birel ART - TM Racing), who is second overall and gains six positions compared to qualifying thanks to two wins and two fourth places. The Birel ART Racing driver will then start from pole in Prefinal B.

  • Iacopo Martinese (CMT - Parolin - TM Racing) confirms his competitive position and with two second places and two thirds wins the third position in the general classification. Vladimir Ivannikov (Drago Corse Racing Team - Parolin - TM Racing) is also constant, finishing fourth overall thanks to two wins, a fourth place and an eighth. Both drivers will start their respective pre-finals from the front row.

  • An important comeback, also in terms of the championship, for Gerasim Skulanov (CRG Racing Team - CRG - TM Racing), who gains 17 positions compared to qualifying and moves to fifth place overall thanks to a victory, a third place, a fourth and a fifth. Equally important comeback is that of René Lammers (Babyrace Driver Academy - Parolin - IAME), who climbs by 18 positions compared to qualifying and is eighth overall, although this is the first Saturday since the beginning of the season in which the Dutch driver has not won any meeting.

  • Alp Aksoy (Babyrace Driver Academy - Parolin - IAME) confirms himself as a protagonist with sixth place overall, while Jimmy Helias (Tony Kart Racing Team - Tony Kart - Vortex), seventh, is more of a surprise. The French driver recovers nine positions with respect to qualifying with excellent results, among which the victory of one heat stands out.

  • Instead, Davide Bottaro (AVracing - Parolin - TM Racing), who finds himself ninth after the third fastest time obtained in qualifying, and the pole-man Sharabian Kian Fardin (Team Driver Racing Kart - KR - IAME ), who closes the top ten and is followed by Tiziano Monza (Sauber Orlen Karting Team - KR - IAME).

  • Jan Przyrowsky (AVracing - Parolin - TM Racing) closes his last two heats with a fourth place and a victory, but the 11th place obtained in the first race and the 14th in the second, in which he arrives third at the finish line but is then penalized by five seconds, they relegate him to 14th place overall.

  • Compared to the previous day, also Lewis Wherrell (Team Driver Racing Kart - KR - IAME), who passes from tenth place in qualifying to 26th, and Sebastian Lehtimaki (Energy Corse - Energy Corse - TM Racing), who is 39th after the ninth fastest time obtained on Friday.

  • Christian Sanabria Costoya (Parolin Motorsport - Parolin - TM Racing) once again demonstrates his fighting spirit and gains 18 positions compared to qualifying, taking him to 13th place overall. The best comeback, however, is that of Niklas Schaufler (Emme Racing - EKS - TM Racing), who recovers 36 positions compared to Friday and is 18th in the general classification.
