Two weeks after the first round held on the Adria circuit, WSK Promotion is back on track in La Conca for the second round of the WSK Super Master Series. An excellent turnout of drivers is confirmed in the three international categories competing: 60 in MINI, 62 in OKJ and 49 in OK.

The usual qualifying sessions took place on Friday, followed by the first qualifying heats, which will end on Saturday afternoon.

OKJ: Akshay Bohra is the fastest with his KR

Tyres: Vega

  • With a time of 46.180 in group 1, Akshay Bohra (KR Motorsport - KR - IAME) takes overall pole position. The Singapore driver puts a gap of just over a tenth and a half between him and his teammate Matheus Ferreira (KR Motorsport - KR - IAME), who after finishing the first round in Adria on the podium following an exceptional comeback continues on a positive note with the second group time and the fourth total. The two standard bearers of KR Motorsport precede the other KR of Yuanpu Cui (KR Motorsport - KR - IAME), who is once again very fast with seventh place in the overall standings.

  • Alexander Gubenko (Tony Kart Racing Team - Tony Kart - Vortex) signs the best time in group 2 with a 46.259, which earns him the second overall position. The Russian driver is more than three and a half tenths ahead of his direct rival Anatoly Khavalkin (Team Komarov - Tony Kart - TM Racing), who is fifth in the overall standings. After finding himself in trouble during the first weekend in Adria, Alex Powell (KR Motorsport - KR - IAME) prints the exact same time as Khavalkin and returns to the top of the standings with the eighth position overall.

  • In group 3 another Tony Kart is first, the one of David Walther (Koski Motorsport - Tony Kart - Vortex), who scores a 46.264 and thus obtains the third time in the general classification. Dion Gowda (Ricky Flynn Motorsport - Kosmic - Vortex) follows him less than a tenth and a half away, winning the sixth position overall. Third in the same group is Ean Eyckmans (Kosmic Racing Department - Kosmic - Vortex), who ends his best qualifying of the season in ninth place overall.

  • Maciej Gladysz (Sauber Orlen Karting Team - KR - IAME) closes the top ten, which is composed of five OTK and five KR chassis. He precedes Douwe Dedecker (KR Motorsport - KR - IAME), Maxim Rehm (Ricky Flynn Motorsport - Kosmic - Vortex), Antonio Apicella (Team Driver Racing Kart - KR - IAME), James Egozi (Tony Kart Racing Team - Tony Kart - Vortex) and Tigran Bunatyan (Team Komarov - Tony Kart - TM Racing).

  • Rashid Al Dhaheri (Parolin Motorsport - Parolin - TM Racing), fresh winner of the WSK Champions Cup and of the first round of the WSK Super Master Series, is 16th in the general classification. Qualifying below expectations for WSK Champions Cup runner-up Kean Nakamura Berta (Forza Racing - Exprit - TM Racing), 32nd due to an injury that forces him not to continue the race weekend, for Gustaw Wisniewski (Sauber Orlen Karting Team - KR - IAME), who after the second place conquered in the final two weeks ago in Adria is 43rd, for the reigning world champion and pole-man of the first round of Adria Freddie Slater (Ricky Flynn Motorsport - Kosmic - Vortex), 50th, and for Harley Keeble (Tony Kart Racing Team - Tony Kart - Vortex), who after getting on the podium at the WSK Champions Cup is only 54th.

OK: Arvid Lindblad brings himself on top again

Tyres: LeCont

  • After the pole position conquered at the WSK Champions Cup and the second absolute time obtained in the first round of the WSK Super Master Series, Arvid Lindblad (KR Motorsport - KR - IAME) once again proves to be an extremely fast rookie. With a time of 44.459 in group 1, the KR Motorsport driver signs the absolute best time and puts a gap of more than three tenths between him and his direct rival Tuukka Taponen (Tony Kart Racing Team - Tony Kart - Vortex), who is third overall and thus confirms himself one of the protagonists of the category. Following them is Ugo Ugochukwu (Sauber Orlen Karting Team - KR - IAME), who finishes fifth overall after having conquered his first podium in OK two weeks ago in Adria.

  • Igor Cepil (KR Motorsport - KR - IAME) is the fastest in group 2 and prints a 44.699, with which he takes the second overall position. The KR Motorsport standard bearer is only three milliseconds ahead of Martinius Stenshorne (Leclerc by Lennox Racing - Birel ART - TM Racing), who closes the best qualifying of his rookie season in fourth place in the overall standings. Behind them is Artem Severiukhin (Ward Racing - Tony Kart - Vortex), who gets the sixth best overall time.

  • In his second race in OK, Emerson Fittipaldi (DPK Racing - KR - IAME) conquers a surprising seventh overall position. The Brazilian driver precedes his teammate Nikola Tsolov (DPK Racing - KR - IAME), who confirms himself one of the fastest drivers in the category.

  • Norton Andreasson (Ward Racing - Tony Kart - Vortex) and Andrea Kimi Antonelli (KR Motorsport - KR - IAME) close the absolute top ten. The reigning European champion thus returns after having abandoned the first round of Adria prematurely due to the pain he accused in his left leg, which he had broken at last year's world championship.

  • The reigning vice world champion Joseph Turney (Tony Kart Racing Team - Tony Kart - Vortex) is 12th in the general classification. He is followed from the 14th positions by Rafael Camara (KR Motorsport - KR - IAME), who, after having won both the WSK Champions Cup and the first round of the WSK Super Master Series, does not particularly shine. Brando Badoer (KR Motorsport - KR - IAME), who had conquered his first pole position in OK at Adria, is also encountering some more difficulties compared to two weeks ago.

  • Disappointing qualifying for Edoardo Ludovico Villa (TBKart - TBKart - TM Racing), who after having closed the first round in Adria in second position with an exceptional performance is only 43rd overall. Unfulfilled expectations also by the reigning world champion Callum Bradshaw (Tony Kart Racing Team - Tony Kart - Vortex), 40th.

MINI: Sharabian Kian Fardin brings himself in front of everyone

Tyres: Vega

  • Sharabian Kian Fardin (Team Driver Racing Kart - KR - IAME) conquers the absolute pole position with a time of 51.639 in group 2, thus demonstrating his growth in this start of the season. The driver of the Team Driver Racing Kart precedes by just over half a tenth a surprising Alp Aksoy (Babyrace Driver Academy - Parolin - IAME), who is fourth in the general classification. Following them is Jan Przyrowsky (AVracing - Parolin - TM Racing), who after the podium obtained at the first round in Adria confirms himself as one of the most competitive drivers in the category with seventh place overall.

  • In group 1 Iacopo Martinese (CMT - Parolin - TM Racing) is first with a time of 51.884, as he ends his best qualifying of the season in second overall position. The Italian driver puts a gap of just over two tenths between him and Vladimir Ivannikov (Drago Corse Racing Team - Parolin - TM Racing), who is fifth in the overall standings. Third in the same group and eighth overall is Dries Van Langendonk (Birel ART Racing - Birel ART - TM Racing), who once again proves to be very fast.

  • Davide Bottaro (AVracing - Parolin - TM Racing), author of the best comeback of the final in Adria two weeks ago, sets the best time in group 3 with a 52.015 and earns the third place overall. The Italian driver is just 33 milliseconds ahead of his direct rival Matias Orjuela (Parolin Motorsport - Parolin - TM Racing), who gets the sixth position in the overall standings. Immediately behind is a surprising Sebastian Lehtimaki (Energy Corse - Energy Corse - TM Racing), who after failing to qualify for the final of the first round in Adria conquers an excellent ninth overall time.

  • A growing Lewis Wherrell (Team Driver Racing Kart - KR - IAME) closes the absolute top ten and precedes Jensen Burnett (Energy Corse - Energy Corse - TM Racing), who confirms himself fast.

  • WSK Champions Cup runner-up Emanuele Olivieri (Formula K Serafini - IPK - TM Racing) is 12th in the overall standings, chased by Tiziano Monza (Sauber Orlen Karting Team - KR - IAME), still at the top of the standings after the third place in the WSK Champions Cup and the fourth place in the first round of the WSK Super Master Series.

  • Elliot Kaczynski (Ward Racing - Tony Kart - TM Racing) and Griffin Peebles (Team Driver Racing Kart - KR - IAME) close the absolute top 15.

  • The qualifying session of the winner of the WSK Champions Cup and of the first round of the WSK Super Master Series René Lammers (Babyrace Driver Academy - Parolin - IAME) is a bit disappointing, only 26th overall. The Dutch driver will try to recover just like he did two weeks ago in Adria, when he qualified 25th on Friday and won the final on Sunday. Unfulfilled expectations also by Christian Sanabria Costoya (Parolin Motorsport - Parolin - TM Racing), 31st overall, but even he doesn't fear comebacks, considering that he finished the WSK Champions Cup in fourth place after being 113th in qualifying.

  • Gerasim Skulanov (CRG Racing Team - CRG - TM Racing) is slightly delayed compared to Adria. After taking pole position at the first round in Adria and finishing the final in third place, he is 22nd in the overall standings. Even further back Chi Zhenrui (Babyrace Driver Academy - Parolin - IAME), who after having raced a great weekend in Adria, finished in the top ten and with the fastest lap, is only in 48th place overall.
