WSK Super Master Series Rd 3, Sarno: MINI Final - Emanuele Olivieri wins in the sprint over Jindrich Pesl

In a hard-fought race, the Formula K driver Serafini beats his rival Jindrich Pesl in the last meters and takes the victory. Lewis Wherrell climbs to the lowest step of the podium.

  • Emanuele Olivieri (Formula K Serafini - IPK - TM Racing) wins his first win of the season in the WSK Super Master Series. The Formula K driver Serafini wins the sprint battle against Jindrich Pesl (Babyrace Driver Academy - Parolin - IAME) by just 64 thousandths of a second. Both the two drivers gain six positions with respect to the starting square.

  • Lewis Wherrell (Team Driver Racing Kart - KR - IAME) mocked René Lammers (Babyrace Driver Academy - Parolin - IAME) for 3rd place. The British driver beat the Dutchman in the final meters, with the latter leading until the last lap. Lammers remains second in the overall championship standings, with Christian Sanabria Costya (Parolin Motorsport - Parolin - TM Racing) at the top despite the 8th place finish.

  • After Friday's pole position in qualifying, Jimmy Helias (Tony Kart Racing Team - Tony Kart - Vortex) did not gain or lose positions, to finish in 5th place. The French driver precedes the finish line, in order, Matias Orjuela (Parolin Motorsport - Parolin - TM Racing), 6th, and Vladimir Ivannikov (Drago Corse Racing Team - Parolin - TM Racing), 7th.

  • Alfie Slater (Energy Corse - Energy Corse - TM Racing), yesterday the best in the general classification of Sarno after the qualifying heats, ends "only" in 9th place. Enzo Tarnvanichkul (Team Driver Racing Kart - KR - IAME) hits the top 10, ahead of teammate Stepan Antonov (Team Driver Racing Kart - KR - IAME), 11th, and Iacopo Martinese (CMT - Parolin - TM Racing) , 12 °.

  • After two third places in the first two rounds, Gerasim Skulanov (CRG Racing Team - CRG - TM Racing) misses the podium in the Sarno final. The Russian driver of the CRG Racing Team finishes far behind, 19th. Niklas Schaufler (Emme Racing - EKS - TM Racing) retired: the Austrian starts from pole position but a contact puts him out of the race when he is in the top positions.
