Major renovation works have affected the entire track—extended to 1,110 metres—the parc fermé and the paddock. The circuit is certified as an ACI Sport Federal Centre.

After a significant structural and technical renovation, Ala Karting Circuit – a historic facility dedicated to karts and motorcycles since 1992 – officially reopens to the public in its new version.

The works, which began in November 2024 and were completed in June 2025, involved the entire circuit and support areas. The result is a completely renewed facility that preserves its original character but now meets the latest technical and logistical standards.

Key figures of the new circuit:

  • Length: over 1,110 metres
  • Track: complex corners, pronounced elevation changes, highly technical layout
  • Parc fermé: 1,800 m²
  • Paddock: expanded to over 20,000 m², equipped with electric connections and sanitary facilities

Since its opening, the track has stood out for its technical and demanding profile, becoming a true “driving school” for drivers of all categories over the years. However, with an original length of 1,030 metres and a limited paddock, the circuit had some limitations in hosting high-level sporting events.

Since 2020, when the structure was taken over by the Ebner family—motorsport enthusiasts and early karting drivers—a relaunch process was initiated with ambitious goals. The turning point came in 2022 with the Ebner family’s acquisition of the entire area—previously owned by the Municipality of Ala—and the development of a complete modernisation plan.

The new Ala Karting Circuit has obtained permanent Kartodrome homologation, Grade B, from ACI Sport, with 34 grid positions. A possible FIA homologation procedure is also under consideration, which would certify the track at international level.

The facility has also been accredited as an ACI Sport Federal Technical Centre, with second-level instructors Markus and Moritz Ebner, further expanding the services offered by the circuit.

The infrastructure can host up to 300 drivers, complying with all quality standards required by current regulations. The facility also includes a well-stocked spare parts shop (open on track days) and a large restaurant with a bar, offering traditional Trentino cuisine and classic Italian dishes.

One of the unique features of the circuit is its strategic location:

  • Only 5 minutes from the A22 Brenner motorway, on the main axis connecting northern and southern Europe.
  • Nestled in a scenic alpine setting, surrounded by mountains, nature and unspoilt landscapes.
  • 15 minutes from Lake Garda, one of Italy’s most popular tourist destinations.

The new Ala Karting Circuit is set to become a benchmark for national and international events, combining technicality, hospitality and local appeal.
