Today, Alpinestars is announcing the launch of the innovative Limited Edition ‘Supersonic’ Tech-1 KZ Karting Shoe. Featuring a distinctive red and black graphic inspired by cutting edge sportscar aero design, the striking Astars multi-layered logo appears to move around the outer surface of the Tech-1 KZ, perfectly encapsulating the sports performance of the shoe. The Alpinestars product design team incorporated the use of algorithm-driven design which repeated the logo on the surface of the shoe at an accelerated speed. This algorithmic design technique resulted in a unique imprint of the logo on the entire side of the Tech-1 ZX shoe, creating a unique moving action logo effect with a modern graffiti look.

The Limited Edition ‘Supersonic’ shares the same class-leading features of the Tech-1 KZ; the lightest and most advanced Karting shoe available on the market today. Incorporating technical features proven in Formula 1 and specific innovations tailored exclusively for the Kart track, the ‘Supersonic’ boasts an asymmetric lacing system, and the “sock-like” effect where super thin materials are welded together to provide a seamless construction for maximum sensitivity with the pedals. Other design touches include external reinforcements on the rounded heels for superior levels of protection. Strategically positioned laser cut perforations inspired by the air intakes of sport cars have been incorporated to allow for optimal airflow. An ultra-thin F1 specification rubber sole has been incorporated for enhanced grip in the most demanding of conditions.

The Limited Edition ‘Supersonic’ Tech-1 KZ Karting Shoe is available in two color variations; white, black and red and cool gray, black and red.
