101 drivers gave birth to the first event of the Easykart Trophy held last weekend on the Adria International Raceway: with a pleasantly summery climate, the drivers returned to the track after a long stop period giving us show, competition and all the emotions that characterize the Easykart paddock. From a merely sporting point of view, Adria also proclaimed the first winners of the season: Hayden Lupifieri (BMB Challenge), Daniele d'Urso (100 Easykart), Francesco Ruga (125 Easy), Rosolino Caralla (125 Senior) and Cristian Tonalini ( 60 Easy).
BMB Challenge: Hayden Lupifieri the fastest of the 29 riders present
As many as 29 drivers responded to the first call on the track of the 2020 season. Hayden Lupifieri had a higher gear than all the others: the MLG Racing driver set the best time in qualifying, he won the pre-final with almost five seconds ahead and also dominated the Final with a similar gap.
100 Easykart: Daniele d’Urso wins after an uncertain weekend
Unlike BMB, the final outcome of the 100 Easykart was uncertain until the end: Andrea Calabrese was the only one to conquer the pole for just 81 thousandths while Tommaso Santini won the Prefinal. In the Final, therefore, it was the bearer of VRK Motorsport ahead of Santini and Cristian Vergani.
125 Easy: hat-trick by Francesco Ruga
The Feroce Motorsport driver was the protagonist of a perfect weekend with pole, victory in the Prefinal and in the Final. A perfect weekend, but not dominated: in qualifying, in fact, the top three were contained in just 90 thousandths! In the Final, Ruga preceded Andrea Torello and Alessandro Girotti both from CF RACING.
125 Senior: Rosolino Caralla is confirmed at the top
First place in the Final at the end of a very competitive weekend: the Abruzzo Karting standard bearer closed the Prefinal in the top five overall after recovering five positions from the start while he finished seventh in the Final! In the ranking reserved for the Senior, Caralla preceded Domenico Palumbo and Marco Beretta.
60 Easy: victory for Cristian Tonalini
Cristian Tonalini wins the victory of the Final 60 Easykart at the end of a very uncertain race, with the first three contained in just over six tenths: the bearer of MLG Racing, in fact, preceded Emilio Tedesco, who had won the pole and the victory in the Prefinal, and Antonio Cocchianella.
Easytraining: simulations and briefings are back
Fourteen drivers met on the Venetian track to resume the recreational-sports project born with the aim of bringing children closer to motorsport, in particular go-karting: in fact, the children had the opportunity to participate in theoretical lessons, during the what the rules and behaviors to be followed are explained, and on track simulations.
Easykart does not stop: the Circus Easy will be back on track again on 1 and 2 August for the second round at the Pista Azzura in Jesolo. All information for registration will be announced shortly.
Stay racing, stay happy… and think Easy
