An excellent summer weekend with lots of sun, sea ... and fantastic racing on the "Pista Azzurra" in Lido di Jesolo: a round that saw exciting, uncertain and spectacular qualifications and races. At the end of Sunday new winners were announced: Nicholas Tomasella (60 Easykart), Daniele d’Urso (100 Easy), Francesco Ruga (125), Marco Beretta (Senior) and Marco Bernardi (BMB Challenge).

60 Easykart: first career victory for Nicholas Tomasella

Nicholas Tomasella (Emilia Kart) conquered his first ever victory at the end of a very hard-fought and uncertain final to the end thanks to the many overtaking at the top of the group. Under the checkered flag Tomasella preceded Emilio Tedesco for just over half a second and Cristian Tonalini for eight tenths, who had achieved pole position and obtained the victory in the Prefinal.

100 Easy: second consecutive success for Daniele d’Urso.

Another weekend, another victory for Daniele d’Urso. The VRK Motorsport driver achieved the second success in a row: d’Urso closed in first position with an advantage of just five tenths over Andrea Calabrese, author of the pole position - his second in a row. On the third step of the podium Cristian Vergani, the Prefinal was won by Simone Principalli - third in the final, but then penalized by five seconds for the release of the nose.

125 Easy: there are two P1s for Francesco Ruga. Marco Beretta wins in Senior.

Francesco Ruga (Feroce Motorsport) scored another P1, after the inaugural one in Adria. A real domain for Ruga, author of the pole position, winner in the Prefinal and Final with over four seconds ahead of the rest of the group. However, the Final saw a great battle for the other podium positions: Gabriele Cazzaniga closed in second place while Andrea Torello ended in third.

Marco Beretta (AW Racing) is the second winner of the season in the Senior: in his second race of all time, Beretta managed to establish himself in the category reserved for the over 40. Bad luck, however, for the author of the pole position and the winner in the Prefinal Rosolino Caralla got involved in an accident that cut him out of the fight for the final victory.

BMB Challenge: Marco Bernardi wins!

Marco Bernardi won a very difficult final: starting from second position, the Krono Racing driver then moved on to the lead during the third lap and maintained his leadership up to the checkered flag repeating the success of the Prefinal. Behind him Alessandro Salvarani, author of the pole position, and Gianluca Guiotto.

Easytraining: the race simulations continue

Also in Jesolo, as always, the recreational-sports project conceived by the Instructor Sabino de Castro in collaboration with Birel ART, dedicated to the drivers and their introduction to the world of go-kart through theoretical lessons, free tests and simulations of race.

The Circus Easykart will be back in action on 22 and 23 August on the Siena Circuit in Castelnuovo di Berardenga: all information for registration will be published shortly.
