The ROK Cup platform is continuing its expansion throughout North America entering the 2020 season. One of the key pieces to growth is the establishment of a new Western United States distributor for all ROK engines and parts. California-based Full Throttle Karting is taking on the task, providing dealers and shops with excellent customer service, less costs in shipping and shorter delivery times.
“This has been a challenge for our west coast dealers, shipping costs and time,” stated Garret Potter of ROK Cup USA. “Full Throttle Karting has been a great partner form the start and we are happy that they have decided to take on this role to help us further expand the Vortex ROK brand.”
Full Throttle Karting is located in Orange, California - owned by veteran industry member Andy Seesemann. FTK signed on as the western distributor for Bridgestone YLR tires just over two years ago and now completes the warehouse with ROK engines and parts.
“The United States is a large country in terms of shipping costs and time,” stated Full Throttle Karting’s Andy Seesemann. “Shipping costs and time hurt dealers and the end users when they need parts and engines. Our part in the distribution network allows western customers to be one or two days away from what they need. We are stocking our shelves with high volume items that customers need, starting with the top 120 SKU’s in our first order from Vortex. We will eventually expand the parts list into the future.”
The full line of ROK engines, including the Mini ROK, ROK VLR, ROK GP and ROK Shifter are available through Full Throttle Karting. All parts such as pistons, bearings, reeds, shifter clutch parts and more are available through the distribution at FTK and trackside. Full Throttle Karting will be at major ROK Cup USA events on the western half of the United States, including Challenge of the Americas, California ROK Championship and other selected events in 2020.
“We are investing by adding more storage to our trackside trailer to accommodate the added parts supply to our customers and teams,” added Seesemann. “FTK will be in Tucson for the Challenge opener at the end of January fully stocked and ready to help our dealers and end users with parts they need for the weekend and throughout the 2020 season.”
