At the German circuit of Mülsen, during the third round of the Champions of the Future Euro Series, our Tony Kart Racer 401 T gains the second and third place in the final of the OKJ class and is the fastest in the qualifying session of OK class.
Once again, the Tony Kart Racing Team gets on the podium of the Champions of the Future Euro Series, 2026 season. After the victory obtained in the first round, the Tony Kart Racer 401 T wins the third place in the OKJ final at the Motorsportarena Mülsen (Germany), venue for the third round of the championship, powered by Vortex engines. Our chassis also secures the pole position in the qualifyings of OK class, still supported by the OTK Kart Group’s ‘engine division’.
In OKJ, Julian Frasnelli celebrates a positive start during the weekend with the third-fastest time in Group 1 of the qualifyings and a victory in the first qualifying heat, but a collision and a stop in two subsequent heats forces him to start the final from the back of the grid. Thanks to a brilliant start, our driver immediately gains 12 positions on the first lap of the final race, before climbing further up the order. The Italian, after a remarkable comeback of 27 positions, wins the third place – immediately behind another Tony Kart chassis – and is third in the championship with 185 points.
Among the leaders over the weekend, Emerson MacAndrew-Uren sets the second-fastest time in the third qualifying group and gathers two wins and two third-place finishes in the qualifying heats, plus a third-place finish in Super Heat B. Starting from the third row, the British driver immediately joins the battle for the leading position, but on the final lap he is pushed off the track, thus seeing his chances of a podium finish slip away. He still manages to finish the race in the top 10.
Stepan Mazepin is among the fastest drivers of the qualifyings (setting the third-fastest time in Group 2) and proves to be competitive in the qualifying heats too, as demonstrated by his victory in Heat C-F. However, a few incidents in the qualifying heats of the final forces him to start from the back of the grid in the final. Mazepin performs a 16-place comeback in the final race (later nullified by a 5-second penalty), thus confirming the potential he had shown over the previous days.
Augustin Feligioni, Jean Poujol, Oiva Vettenranta and Yubo Wen continue to work alongside our team throughout the weekend, with the aim of training at the best possible way for the third round of the FIA Karting European Championship, scheduled to take place at the same circuit.
In OK class, Ilie Tristan Crisan is the fastest of the qualifyings: his time of 47.793 in Group 1 also sets a new event record. The Canadian driver gathers three wins in the qualifying heats and a second place in Super Heat B, results that secure him a place on the second row for the final. Despite this being his first full season in the ‘Senior’ class, Crisan shows remarkable maturity in his race management and remains in contention for the top position until he is forced to stop two laps before the end.
Fourth in his group during the qualifyings, Jindřich Pešl secures a win and a third place in the qualifying heats, whilst in the final he performs a solid performance, coming close to a top-10 finish. Positive results are also gained by Valerio Viapiana, who manages to secure two wins and a third place in the qualifying heats thus starting from the front rows of the final.
Starting from the front of the grid in the weekend’s final race, Gilles Herman is involved in an accident at the first corner. The Belgian driver, however, is able to resume the race and reach the chequered flag. Endo Arata and Gabin Adam train a lot ahead of the upcoming events scheduled on the calendar.
