23 March 2025

On the occasion of the last round of the WSK Super Master Series, the VTS engine of the OTK Kart Group "engine division" takes the victory in the final of the OK category, while the VTJ unit records the pole position in the OKJ qualifying.

OK – The Vortex VTS is, once again, one of the main protagonists of the category, after having collected significant performances in the previous championship rounds. Jindřich Pešl (Tony Kart Racing Team) is the second fastest driver in group 1 of the qualifying, after which he gets a second place as the best result in qualifying heats and a podium in prefinal A on Sunday morning.

Starting from the third row in the final, with the wet asphalt due to the rain fallen a few hours earlier, Pešl remains firmly in the top positions and, during the following laps, gains a second place. With seven laps to go, the Czech driver successfully attacks the race leader and flies towards victory. Behind him, Oliver Rasmussen (Tony Kart Racing Team) stands out with a comeback of not less than 13 positions.

Thanks to this result, Pešl is third in the final championship standings.

OKJ – After the victory in the previous round in Franciacorta, the Vortex VTJ engine takes part in the category once more starting from the top of the standings. In fact, Julian Frasnelli (Tony Kart Racing Team) hits the pole position in the qualifying practices, with a time of 53.640 seconds, while Ilie Tristan Crisan (Tony Kart Racing Team) records a second place and two fastest laps in qualifying heats; the best time recorded by the Canadian driver in heat A-D (52.857 seconds) is the lap record of the weekend.

The rain does not give relief to the drivers of the "Junior" category on Sunday. Despite everything, Crisan collects the scores necessary to secure the third place in the championship, while the Rookies Frasnelli, Henri Constant Kumpen (Tony Kart Racing Team) and Nikita Ljubimov (Tony Kart Racing Team) attend the final.

MINI Gr.3 – The Vortex VTM proves to have excellent potential also in the last weekend of the championship. In the qualifying heats it gains two podiums and a fastest lap with Jean Poujol (Tony Kart Racing Team), in contention for a top-3 place also in the prefinal B on Sunday morning. The French driver attends the final, together with his teammates Tiberius Müller (Tony Kart Racing Team), Victor Thomas Gorun (Tony Kart Racing Team), Miguel Enrique Manzano Suarez (Tony Kart Racing Team), Henri Möhring (Tony Kart Racing Team) and Linghan Li (Tony Kart Racing Team).
