The RB Racing karting team is pleased to announce the agreement with the Spanish driver Alex Lahoz Lopez for the OK Junior class. Alex will join the team since the next race of the Cik-Fia European Championship in Portimao at the end of June.

[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he driver from Madrid, born on 1990, was in evidence in the first part of the season, achieveing excellent results in the Cik-Fia European Championship, besides the Wsk Super Master and the X30 Euro Challenge. His karting experience started in 2011 in the Rotax Micromax, where he won the first race in 2012 and he was 2nd in the Spanish Challenge. In 2013 he won the Minimax title in Spain and in 2015 he was selected to represent Spain in the Cik-Fia Academy Trophy, where he achieved the first place among the rookies.
Now his goal is reaching an important result in the OK Junior class and the collaboration with RB Racing, that will provide Exprit-TM technical equipment, will give him a great opportunity, as Alex points out: “The proposal we received from RB Racing allows us to make a great quality jump from the technical point of view, thanks to the collaboration with very experienced technicians and the comparison of telemetry data with the other drivers of the

team. I am very confident that I will be able to learn a lot a achieve positive results, moreover, the fact of continuing with TM engines allows me to focus immediately on the work with the staff without unknowns. Starting this collaboration means also looking at the future, having the opportunity to follow the F4 team’s work, which is interesting for my next step career”.
Also Mariano De Faveri comments the agreement in a positive way: “We had a transient first part of the season, as we started the collaboration with TM introducing many technical novelties, but now we are sure we have a very high potential and we are working to increase our drivers’ line up, with the goal of achieving important results. We followed Alex in the last races and we surely found a fast and determined driver, that will be immediately able to fight for the top positions”.
Alex’ agonistic programme will include all the Cik-Fia races, the Dkm race in Genk and the Wsk Final Cup.
