Jorrit Pex has been awarded in Paris with the prize reserved to the KZ World Champion, together with his team mate at CRG Paolo De Conto, as they were the pairing dominating Le Mans. Another world title adds to CRG's prize list after the one won by Max Verstappen in 2013. CIK-FIA season 2015 ended with another positive balance for the Italian squad.

[dropcap]A[/dropcap]fter FIA's prize giving ceremony that has celebrated 2015 Motorsport and Karting Champions in Paris, the Ville Lumière has staged again one of the most prestigious ceremonies with the CIK-FIA prize giving of Karting International Champions last 19 December.
As already happened at FIA's ceremony, the most sought after prize reserved to the winner of the CIK-FIA KZ 2015 World Champion was given to the young Dutch driver of CRG Jorrit Pex, who has brought the world title back to CRG, after the one secured by Max Verstappen in 2013.
In this occasion, Jorrit Pex has received his prize alongside team mate Paolo De Conto, as the Italian ended second at the end of a legendary race held in Le Mans, that will always be an high in karting history due to the spectacular duel in the closing stages.
The two dominators of the race of Le Mans, Jorrit Pex and Paolo De Conto, were joined on the sage of the Paris Marriott Hotel by the third classified, Arnaud Kozlinski, who will be back among the ranks of CRG from 2016, as he will take on a new technical role in the racing team of the successful Italian squad.
The Prize Giving ceremony in Paris highlighted 2015 Karting Champions in a year that has recorded another very positive balance for CRG's sporting activity.
Alongside the victory secured by Jorrit Pex (CRG-Tm) in the KZ World Championship and the second place of Paolo De Conto (CRG-Maxter), some further important results have been also achieved in the International CIK-FIA Super Cup KZ2. Pedro Hiltbrand (CRG-Maxter) put in very good performances, even though he was eventually penalized in the melee of the final, while Stan Pex (CRG-Tm) secured the fifth place and Fabian Federer (CRG-Maxter) the eighth.
Pedro Hiltbrand (CRG-Parilla) was seventh in the KF World Championship and in the European KF Championship. Felice Tiene (CRG-Parilla) claimed a strong fourth place in the European KF Championship.

Simo Puhakka (CRG-Maxter) was the best of CRG's lot in the European KZ Championship with his tenth place.
Pedro Hiltbrand (CRG-Maxter) just missed out on the victory of the European KZ2 Championship. He was second in the final classification, while Felice Tiene (CRG-Maxter) has also been protagonist of a good season ending seventh.
A great result was also obtained by the young Alex Quinn (CRG-Parilla) who was seventh in the European KF Junior Championship.
