The Danish driver Oliver Fodor Rasmussen has signed an annual agreement with CRG, after his positive race at the WSK Master in Lonato on February 13th. Oliver has been announced by CRG as the new official driver of the Mini category and will start his 2022 program from the WSK Master race in Sarno on March 13th and then he will take part in the Trofeo Margutti in Lonato, as well as in all the following WSK events.
From an engine point of view, Oliver will use TM engines and will have the technical support of the Danish preparer Racing Motor throughout the season.
His karting career began at a very young age when he was 6 years old in the Promotional Championships in Denmark, where in 2019 he won 4 out of 4 races in the Danish Superkart, becoming National Champion and in 2021, after almost a one-year break due to Covid, he won 2 races of the Danish Superkart, finishing the Championship in P2, as well as scoring a 2nd place also in the Grand Final of Kristianstad, in Sweden.
Here's what Oliver has said, commenting on the agreement reached with CRG:
"I am very happy with this great opportunity for my career, because I will be able to learn really a lot thanks to the great professionalism of an important team like CRG and because I will have all the technical support to be competitive. It will be my first season in high-level championships such as WSK races, but in Lonato I have shown that I can be fast and I'm sure we can get some positive results. I want to thank all the CRG technical staff for trusting in me and also my Racing Motor engineer, who will follow me in this new phase of my experience in karting. I'm looking forward to the first race in Sarno”.
