[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he 15 year old Venezuelan driver comes from RB Racing’s karting team, with whom he made the CIK-FIA and WSK Championships in the 2014 and 2015 seasons with excellent results. He has recently been awarded at the FIA gala in Panama, as best Venezuelan karting driver, also thanks to the excellent performance at the World Championship, where he won the pre-final and ended 5th in the final with the RFM team.
Sebastian has already made several winter tests in Formula 4 with RB Racing, showing a high potential, and since February he will be working again on a strong testing programme in view of the Championship, to prepare for this new challenge in the best way. His goal will be making experience in the first races of the season and point to important results in the second part of the year, especially thinking to the Rookie ranking.
This is how Sebastian commented the agreement with RB Racing: “I raced with RB Racing in karting and I know very well

all the technical staff, especially I know well the working organization and the potential of the team. In the past season I could follow a few races from the pit wall, so I could learn the engineers’ working method and in the winter tests I immediately felt comfortable. My most important goal will be making experience quickly and, of course, reaching some results. I am enthusiast of starting this new phase of my career and I can’t wait to go on the track again”.
Very positive also Marco Angeletti’s comment: “I know Sebastian since he was 9 years old, when he arrived in Europe to race in karting, and I always worked well with him: he is very professional, serious and fast. In karting he always had a great speed and an excellent driving awareness, aspects that will be very useful to be fast also in Formula 4. For sure, he will have to work hard, as the competition in the Italian Championship is very high, but we are all motivated to make a great job together.”
