When taking to the track in extreme environmental conditions, both in terms of high temperatures or intense cold, the thermal management of some components of karts becomes essential to maintain optimal performance. In fact, elements such as the engine, brakes and tyres are particularly sensitive to temperature variations and require the adoption of specific measures to ensure correct operation. At ambient temperatures above 30°C, the risk of overheating increases significantly. If heat is not dissipated effectively, which can lead to performance losses and, in the most extreme cases, mechanical failure. To counteract this problem, it is essential to make the most of the air flows generated by the kart in motion, improving the ventilation of the components most exposed to overheating. This can make the difference between a kart that maintains optimal parameters and one that loses performance due to excessive accumulated heat.
