5 ESSENTIAL ACCESSORIES TO IMPROVE THE COOLING OF KARTS
When taking to the track in extreme environmental conditions, both in terms of high temperatures or intense cold, the thermal management of some components of karts becomes essential to maintain optimal performance. In fact, elements such as the engine, brakes and tyres are particularly sensitive to temperature variations and require the adoption of specific measures to ensure correct operation. At ambient temperatures above 30°C, the risk of overheating increases significantly. If heat is not dissipated effectively, which can lead to performance losses and, in the most extreme cases, mechanical failure. To counteract this problem, it is essential to make the most of the air flows generated by the kart in motion, improving the ventilation of the components most exposed to overheating. This can make the difference between a kart that maintains optimal parameters and one that loses performance due to excessive accumulated heat. There are several accessories on the market designed to improve heat dissipation: we offer you 5 of them, costing from 20 Euros to 82 Euros. Some are specific to better manage air-cooled engines (such as many of the MINI 60 cc, or larger engines, such as those of the BMB brand used in the Easykart Trophy); others are useful for cooling the rear brake caliper, still others...
