Fiberglass repair kit

To repair the fiberglass seat, you need a special kit for repairing this material, usually consisting of: epoxy resin, catalyst, sheets of glass wool, graduated cup and brush. These types of kits are readily available in online shops dedicated to karting (with an average cost of 30 euros ) or, alternatively, at stores located near racetracks. Although buying the kit is the quickest solution, you can buy the components individually at your local hardware store or at large stores specializing in the sale of DIY products. The kit we propose is Sigill brand and contains: 750 ml bottle of polyester resin, 20 ml bottle of hardener, 0.5 m2 sheets of glass wool, a brush and a mixing container. In addition, all useful information, such as the doses for the mix, curing times, and procedures to be followed, are provided on the package. However, this kit alone may not be sufficient for an optimal repair. The products we recommend to follow will help you complete the repair as best as possible and without difficulty.

Editor's Note
The kit we recommend is specifically for repairing fiberglass seats, which are the most common in karting. If, on the contrary, you have a Kevlar or carbon seat, specific kits for repairing these materials can be found on the market.
