WHICH TORQUE WRENCH SHOULD BE USED FOR KARTING? 4 MODELS AT A COST RANGING FROM 50 TO OVER 860 EUROS
In karting, safety and performance also derive from a simple gesture such as tightening each individual threaded element. To precisely adjust and verify the torque to be applied to bolts, screws and nuts during their tightening, the use of the torque wrench is a must. Its use is essential for the assembly of some specific components (such as, for example, the fastening screws of the crankcase, head and cylinder of the engine) because of the forces to which they are subjected to and because in some championships the regulations require certain tightening torques. The panorama of torque wrenches, however, is really very varied, with many manufacturers and just as many sales channels. This is why, to help you find your way around, we present four torque wrenches: three "snap-on" wrenches, the most common and intuitive analog type to use, which signals the achievement of the set torque value in an audible, visible and tactile way; the last is digital and, together with the highest standards of precision, offers additional features that can greatly facilitate working on a kart. All the keys, however, have the same features mentioned below:
