THE ACCESSORIES OF FORZA RACING'S EXPRIT NOESIS RR, WINNER OF THE 2023 FIA KARTING OKJ WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP, IN FRANCIACORTA

As you know, the FIA Karting World Championship is the highlight of the entire racing season and it is not enough to be fast to be able to win the title. Given the "one-off race" formula (by the way, we explored this topic in " Editorial | What's the point of an FIA Karting World Championship like this?"), being consistent throughout the weekend is one of the most important factors in achieving victory, as well as getting the setup right for the specific track conditions of Sunday's final. Dries van Langendonck, champion of the OKJ class at the 2023 edition, held at the Franciacorta Karting Track in Castrezzato (Italy), from 5 to 8 October, is well aware of this. Let's take a look at the accessories and solutions adopted on the Exprit Noesis RR of the Forza Racing driver in the decisive race, held on a rather hot day (29°C) and on completely dry asphalt, on a track with two long straights and several fast bends, but not without slow and hairpin bends as well.

Hubs and rims

Forza Racing's philosophy is to use, as much as possible, the original accessories of the OTK Kart Parts line, manufactured by the OTK Kart Group (owner, among others, of the Exprit Kart and Tony Kart brands). And this line includes the MXC magnesium rims (130 mm at the front and 212 mm at the rear) chosen by Forza Racing for the final, the most recommended when the track has a lot of grip and you want to control the temperatures in the best possible way in order to avoid or reduce overheating of the tyres. The hubs are also branded OTK Kart Parts: 25 x 80 mm (HST model) at the front and 50 x 92 mm at the rear, both made of magnesium.
