SILENCERS: THE NEW ELTO OVS/2 AND TD/2

The names have remained the OVS and the TD, but the “/2” differentiates the newly approved ones from the previous “/1” versions. They are introduced by Elto, a leader in exhaust systems sector, which also manages to showcase its high quality

THE COMPANY

Elto Racing has been operating in the exhaust system sector for 2-stroke engines since 1982, establishing a name for itself in different motorsport fields for both 2 and 4 wheelers. However, karting is where it has become truly specialised. Basically, its work is divided into two related areas: the planning, manufacture and development of own brand products; and the development and manufacture of articles for almost every company involved in karting. Led by Eligio Torreggiani, the company is based in Pesaro on 1,000 square metres premises, where all stages of production take place: from design to shipment.

RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT

Basically, the filters are the evolution and optimisation of earlier approved versions. Nowadays, Elto is a leader in the field of silencers for kart engines, but also for mini bikes, scooters and motorcycles. Research and development, as well as manufacturing, take place entirely within Elto. As always, the focus for the new approved products is on performance, but also on weight, space saving and finishes.

The new TD/2 silencer is an evolution of the TD/1. More refined, more compact, lighter...and even better looking!

The OVS/2 silencer is an evolution of the OVS/1 used on KZ engines. The focus here was also on weight, compactness, performance and finishes.
