Karting event brings together a massive 62 entrants for largest gathering of late 90’s karts in the UK since return of historic karting.

On 22nd March 2025, the iconic UK circuit of Clay Pigeon Raceway will host “Clay’s of Hazzard”, a landmark event celebrating the rich history of 100cc karting with Intercontinental A and Formula Super A Classes racing. With 62 entries already confirmed, the event promises to be the biggest gathering of late 90’s 100cc karts in the UK since the resurgence of historic karting.

Clay’s of Hazzard is a nod to the golden age of karting, where names such as; Manetti, Fore, Rossi, Trulli, Hamilton, Orsini and Pantano lit up the timing screens. The event will bring together some of the best karting talents from across the UK for a day that celebrates both the technical prowess and history of the sport. 62 drivers will take part on 17 different chassis brands and 9 different engine manufacturers.

The event will raise money for the Teenage Cancer Trust and the inaugural event last year raised over £3,000 for the charity and marks the first time in many years that so many historic 100cc karts have competed together at the same event, and it is set to be a pivotal moment in the UK’s karting calendar.

“We are excited to the event at Clay Pigeon Raceway. The sound of these awesome karts revving to 20,000 rpm is a sight to behold” said track owner Lee Rennison. “This event is a testament to the passion and dedication of the karting community, and we look forward to seeing these legendary 100cc karts in action once again.”

“The inaugural event in 2024 was the highlight of the year, so I could not miss the opportunity to race it again in 2025.” Said Matteo Bianchi, Clay’s of Hazzard entrant.
