Kart Expo International, historically America’s longest running trade show devoted to the kart racing industry, will reignite its future with a manufacturers and suppliers display at the United States Karting Grand Prix (USKGP) at the Utah Motorsports Campus over the July 23-25 weekend.

In 1993 Kart Expo International pioneered the concept that the kart racing industry was a foundational part of the worldwide motorsports business and thus needed a dedicated trade exposition. Since that time, Kart Expo grew into the largest show devoted exclusively to karting before ceasing operation in poor economic times. By returning to the USKGP, Kart Expo International signals the reintroduction of this established industry touchpoint for karting manufacturers and suppliers worldwide.

At the USKGP, kart industry manufacturers including engine and chassis builders, equipment suppliers and accessory manufacturers are invited to display and promote their companies during the event. The display area will be set up in the east and west paddock directly in the center of all USKGP activities. The location of Kart Expo in the paddock offers an optimum location to present, demonstrate and sell your products and services to the racers as they come and go from the track to their set-up areas over the entire three days of this fast-growing event.

The United States Karting Grand Prix will be drawing racing teams and families from around the nation for its inaugural event. Today, kart racing is the largest form of motorsports in the United States. On any given weekend there are more than 68,000 people involved in the sport. Karting families are passionate and active powersports consumers. A Kart Expo survey revealed these compelling facts:

• 40% own Motorcycles & ATVS
• 35% own Motorhomes & Campers
• 30% own Recreational Vehicles
• 10% own Snowmobiles

Kart racing participants are also extremely active travelers. The survey also revealed that 75% of karting families own SUVs, pickups and towing and trailer packages. They are also active families travelling 20 times or more every summer traversing more than 100 miles per event. 48% of karting families combine their racing activities with family vacationing and sightseeing recreations. This makes Kart Expo at USKGP a great way for non-karting firms to capture candidates for new vehicles, insurance, travel packages and more.
