“Miller earns the SSKC KA100 Junior Championship”.
Steven Miller is confident 2023 will be another winning year.
After scoring the biggest win of his karting career at the Superkarts! USA (SKUSA) SuperNationals, Steven Miller added to his resume the Sunshine State Karting Championship KA100 Junior First Place title. Closing the season at the AMR Motorplex in the shadows of the Homestead-Miami Speedway, Miller overcame difficult wet weather conditions to earn a pair of podiums in the final race of the season.
“It was a great way to end the season and build some momentum toward 2023,” expressed Steven Miller. “To earn another title really caps off the season, and I already cannot wait to get 2023 started in just a few short days.”
Weather conditions were tricky during rounds five and six as rain had moved into the area just in time for qualifying. With wet weather conditions for the timed session, the track would dry for wheel-to-wheel racing as Chad Dokken Racing ensured kart setups and changeovers were perfect throughout the day. Keeping the karts in podium-winning positions all weekend long, Miller drove to another win in the KA100 Junior class cementing his championship performance over the six-race series. Crossing the line second in X30 Pro Junior, Miller claimed a P3 result in that championship chase as he doubled up on podium results over the weekend.
Miller added, “I can’t wait to get back on track this January. I am confident that 2023 will be another winning year, and I look forward to achieving all the goals that both myself and the team have put in front of me.”
SunPrint and PMI sponsored Steven Miller is back at the AMR Homestead-Miami Motorplex in Homestead, Florida, preparing for the start of the 2023 race season that will kick off with the SKUSA Winter Series in a pair of Junior classes.
