For the second round of the ROK Cup Italy in Adria the scorching heat was the master. The Rokkers responded numerous and in all categories there were races drawn with some nice surprises and new protagonists from Greece and Japan. The next appointment is set for August 30th in Lonato.
SENIOR ROK. GAGLIANO 'CONFIRMS ITSELF. BERNARDI IS UNREACHABLE
Gaglianò makes a void from pole in race 1 ahead of Ragone, who is excellent second ahead of lady Tanja Muller, who deserves credit for spurring the fight for the podium, with good overtaking against Locatelli, Moncini, Colombo and Federici .
Race-2 brings Bernardi to the fore who starts very strong and is no longer taken, despite the good race of the pursuers, Locatelli, Gaglianò and Muller. Bernardi also scores the best lap in race 2, demonstrating how much this victory is deserved.
JUNIOR ROK. DOZONO SURPRISES EVERYONE
The Japanese Dozono surprises everyone in the Adria round. The Japanese took to the track to train for the Academy and scored a peremptory one-two, winning race 1 and race 2.
One of the absolute protagonists is Ianiello, author of the pole and first on the finish line of race-1. The young man from Lazio is penalized after the race and slips to fifth place, between Larini and Panaev.
Abbate is good second in race 1 after a good confrontation, hand-to-hand, with Ianiello, and is overtaken by Dozono only in the sprint.
In gar-2 Dozono has to sweat the success fighting with the surprising Greek Kafantaris and with an effective Megna, arrived in this order. At the foot of the podium comes Panaev who manages to get the better of a very combative trio made up of Ladina, Bedetti and Bedetti.
MINI ROK.
MINI ROK. PARMEGGIANI LEADS IN RACE 1 AND PEEBLES HAS HIS RACE 2
Parmeggiani fights closely with Prescianotto throughout Race 1 and it is the latter who crosses the finish line in first position. But it is a "jump start" that drops Prescianotto to eleventh place and hands the victory to the young Italian from Dubai, Parmeggiani. On the podium the talented lady Kiana Naude and Berni go up. The latter grabs the first podium of his young competitive career with full merit.
Great protagonist of race 1 is also Peebles who makes a comeback from the back of the grid to fifth place.
In race 2 the Australian Peebles is perfect and wins ahead of Pameggiani, constant and fast who leaps to the top of the standings. Third is the Greek Malamis who completes a decidedly international podium.
Prescianotto confirms that, despite bad luck, he is there and comes back seven positions and crosses the finish line at the foot of the podium, ahead of Riva and Naude.
EXPERT. FIRST BICCIOLO, THEN COGATO
Bicciolo and Cogato share the victories in the expert category. Race 1 goes to Lazio and the second race to Cogato.
SUPER ROK. POLE, RACE 1 AND RACE 2 IN CICOGNINI
Cicognini is unstoppable in both races. After the pole position, the 2019 Superfinal champion travels undisturbed in race 1 ahead of Michael Muller and Martinello who compete for the place of honor to the finish.
In race 2 Cicognini lets Gritti and the young Rubiolini vent, who started in the front row due to the inverted grid, and then climbs to the top and takes the second victory of the day, always ahead of the Swiss Michale Muller.
D'Abramo is a good third after a good comeback and precedes Martinello (penalized for the nose out). The top five is completed by Lady Gaia Cardinali.
The Super was refined by the two spirited Lady Roks, the aforementioned Gaia Cardinali and Rebecca Guarguglini, who returned after a long stop.
SHIFTER. BURAN AND, ONLY, BURAN
Buran wins both races with apparent ease, ahead of Vita (race 1) and Limena (race 2).
Both races are spectacular and lively, except in the lead, due to the pace set by the winner.
On the podium of race 1, in addition to the aforementioned Buran and Vita, Bizzozero climbs ahead of the former Superfinal champion Zemin.
In race 2 on the third step of the podium is the Austrian Hold who manages to contain the comeback of the reigning Superfinal champion, Bosco.
