TKART Staff
06 June 2024

The national ROK Cup Championships are now in the middle of the season and Rokkers from all over the world are challenging each other race after race waiting for the most coveted ROK event, the ROK Cup Superfinal, scheduled from 15 to 19 October at the South Garda Karting circuit in Lonato (BS).

All the Rok categories will be at the call, with drivers coming from all over the world, to once again offer an unforgettable show, such event that for more than 20 years has been ranking among the most important international karting events.

The 2024 edition of the ROK Cup Superfinal has big news in store: let's see them together!

MINI ROK / MINI ROK U10 CATEGORY
Given the great success of the MINI Rok category and the number of drivers who every year aim at taking part in the Rok Cup Superfinal, this 2024 edition will host over 100 Mini drivers divided as follows:

  • MINI ROK U10: all Mini Rok drivers born in 2014 or later, will have a reserved category, the Mini Rok U10, up to 36 drivers max with engines distributed by drawing lots by the Promoter.
  • MINI ROK: Mini Rok drivers aged 11, 12 and 13 (born in 2013 and up to 14 years old not turned) will race in the Mini Rok category, up to 72 drivers max with engines distributed by drawing lots by the Promoter.

Mini Rok engines shall be hired from the Promoter. Drivers shall run the race with their chassis and, starting from the official free practices, shall use the sealed engines provided by the Promoter after the draw.

NEW TIMETABLE
The race schedule will be extended by one day: it will start on Tuesday 15th with unofficial free practice sessions; on Wednesday there will be official free practices, qualifying practices and a few qualifying heats; followed by Thursday and Friday with all the qualifying heats, to arrive at Saturday’s pre-finals and finals!

In order to give all drivers the opportunity to carry out practice and testing days before the big event, on the weekend before the race (12/13 October) the Rok Cup Trophy will not be held, but the track will be open for free practices. This way all drivers will be able to go to the track on any day of the week before the Superfinal to attend the practice sessions.

Further notices with more details will follow.
