30 October 2023

The 2023 edition of the ROK Cup Superfinal couldn’t finish in a better way: a special episode of the unmissable postrace web show of the mono-brand by Vortex, the ROK Talk Show, took place at the end of the most important event of the season. The tenth episode of this year has been streamed on Thursday, October 19, at 21:00, on our Facebook page, with more than 45.000 people reached (survey of October 23).

Many guests in the studio (set up directly at the South Garda Karting track in Lonato) hosted immediately after the awards ceremony by Mara Sangiorgio, Sky Sport F1 journalist and great karting enthusiast.

Angelo Pecoraro has been one of the protagonists of the final reserved to the Mini ROK, in competition for success before going in contact with Bogdan Cosma Cristofor a few meters from the checkered flag: “The victory was possible because I believed in it until the last corner”, declared the Italian after the race. Nicolas Marchesi, author of the pole position in qualifying of the Junior ROK, has a positive feeling for the third place obtained in final, with over 100 drivers at the start in the category. David Stefan Dragan, winner of the Senior ROK, reveals that he made some changes to the set-up before the final, despite he got the fastest lap in the qualifying practice and four first places in the qualifying heats. Andre Nicastro didn’t expect to be a leader in the Expert ROK and to triumph ahead of the best Rokkers of the world: “For me it is a great satisfaction to win such an important race”. Mix of emotions for Angelo Ardito in the Expert ROK Plus, happy for the podium, but at the same time disappointed by the missed victory. Cristian Comanducci - defined as “a shark” by his rival Elliott Shaw - describes in detail the overtake on Bartosz Grzywacz at the last corner, which has allowed him to become champion in the Super ROK. In the end, there are two Australians on the podium of the Shifter ROK, Luca Nici and Jay Coul, both satisfied despite the few tests done before the Superfinal.
