The Andrea Margutti Trophy, event organized by Parma Motorsport, is ready to take place at the South Garda Karting in Lonato from March 20th to 23rd, 2025, kicking off its 36th edition with a full roster of entries, a remarkable 250 drivers from 36 nations, in the MINI Gr.3, MINI Under 10, KZ2, OK-Junior, OK-N and OK-NJ categories. The event is included in the FIA Karting international calendar.

Another success in the making.
Another great success is shaping up for this event organized in memory of the young Andrea Margutti, a promising karting talent who tragically passed away in 1989 at just 14 years old. Since then, Andrea's family, along with all of Andrea's fellow drivers and friends, such as Trulli and Fisichella, wanted an event in his memory.

A bit of history of the Andrea Margutti Trophy.
Since 1990, the Andrea Margutti Trophy has been organized uninterruptedly, first at the Pista d'Oro in Rome, then at the Parma Kartdrome, and in recent years since 2012 in Lonato, where it has established itself as one of the most followed international events. A long tradition, attended by many young talents who then continued in motorsport to achieve the most prestigious goals. In addition to the early important participations of Jarno Trulli and Giancarlo Fisichella, many important motorsport protagonists have competed in the Andrea Margutti Trophy, such as Robert Kubica and Daniil Kvyat, Sophie Kumpen, Max Verstappen's mother, winner of the 1995 edition, the 5-time karting World Champion Danilo Rossi, and then illustrious names in F1 such as Jenson Button, Vitantonio Liuzzi, Fernando Alonso, Giorgio Pantano, Kimi Raikkonen, Nico Rosberg, Lewis Hamilton, Sebastian Vettel, Nico Hulkenberg, Kevin Magnussen, Jules Bianchi, Antonio Giovinazzi, Carlos Sainz Jr., Lando Norris, George Russell, Charles Leclerc, Lance Stroll and many other prominent names.

250 Entries with many protagonists.
There are 250 entries in this 36th edition, with many protagonists of national and international karting including some winners of past editions, such as in KZ2 with the novelty of an exceptional return like Alessio Lorandi with BabyRace already winner in 2018 in KF and in 2010 in Mini, and then other title holders like Cristian Bertuca on BirelART, winner of the 2023 edition who missed the replica last year, Davide Forè with IPK winner in 2015 who will have another go at it this year, Giuseppe Palomba with Maranello Kart already winner in 2022. In OK-N among the prominent names Federico Rossi with PRK winner of the 2024 Italian Championship, in OK-NJ the Ukrainian Oleksandr Legenkyi with Team Driver winner in 2023 in Mini U10 and Cristian Blandino with GSR winner last year of the Italian OK-NJ Championship. In MINI Gr.3 Niccolò Perico with Team Driver winner last year of the U10 and fresh winner of the Gr.3 in the WSK Super Masters Series, as well as in U10 the American Josh Bergman with Kidix also fresh winner of the WSK Super Masters Series.
