A last day of school with thousand emotions that was experienced on the last race week of the year: despite the great cold and the high humidity, the Easykart paddock was the protagonist of the Winter Trophy, the last act of the 2024 season - which began on 17/18 February with the collective tests and concluded on the first of December with the Winter Trophy.

An edition that saw the participation of 31 more drivers than last year with 18 new participants who had not competed in any race of the Easykart Trophy and the International Grand Final.

The latest winners were: Samuele Marchetti (TM Kart Challenge R2), Leonardo Giacomelli (TM Kart Challenge R1), Marco Ghidini (BMB Challenge), Riccardo Di Persia (Easykart 125), Rudolf Patai (Easykart 125 Senior), Luca Muzzolon (Easykart 100), Angelo Stuppia (Easykart 60), Pietro Zorzi (Easykart 60 Under 10).

TM Kart Challenge: victory for national champions Samuele Marchetti (R2), Leonardo Giacomelli (R1)
First success of the season for Easykart Trophy champion Samuele Marchetti in R2: after making consistency the key to success for the national title, Marchetti finally claimed the victory also in the Final, after the bad luck in the Sprint Race. Second place for Andrea Pastorino, pole sitter in qualifying, third for Daniel Planoetscher, Sprint Race winner.

In R1, Easykart Trophy champion Leonardo Giacomelli achieved an excellent result with pole position, victory in the Sprint Race and in the Final. Tommaso Tentoni finished in second place ahead of Daniel Rampazzo.

BMB Challenge: Marco Ghidini takes first win
Marco Ghidini took his first BMB Challenge win, crossing the finish line with an over three-second gap after a stunning Final and winning the Sprint Race. Making his debut in the category, Lorenzo Pignanelli managed to achieve the second step of the podium and set the pole position in qualifying, Timothy Grandi finished in third place.

Easykart 125: Riccardo Di Persia wins in the overall classification, Rudolf Patai in Senior
A winning return to racing for Riccardo Di Persia, aka Scintilla, at the end of an excellent recovery throughout the entire day of racing. Di Persia won ahead of Daniele Vezzelli, another successful return of an Easy driver who has marked the history of this world, and Alessandro De Gaetano, pole sitter in qualifying and Sprint Race winner.

Rudolf Patai crossed the finish line first in the category reserved for Seniors, second Ferenc Marcz, third Roberto Baroni – expert of the Easykart paddock. Victory in the Sprint Race for Enrico Ferdusi, pole for Patai.

Easykart 100: Luca Muzzolon wins in his first race in Easykart
A winning debut for Luca Muzzolon, in his first-ever race in Easykart. An incredible success, achieved at the end of a sprint finish: Muzzolon, in fact, won by just eleven thousandths of a second over Tommaso D’Ambrosio, author of a fantastic second place. Third spot for Marco Pozzoni, author of the pole position in qualifying. Fourth Christian Miori, fifth Andrii Kruglyk. The first position in the Sprint Race was achieved by Leonardo Marogna.

Easykart 60: Angelo Stuppia overall winner, Pietro Zorzi in Under 10
Another debut, another victory. In his first race ever in Easykart, Angelo Stuppia was the fastest at the end of a weekend lived as a superlative protagonist, with P1 also in qualifying and in the Sprint Race. Second place for Riccardo Cassani, third for Alessandro Cereda. Giovanni Ripoli and Pietro Zorzi climbed onto the large podium. Zorzi was the fastest from qualifying to the Final among the Under 10s, while Francesco De Luise was second, Lola Mukhammadiyev finished in third place.

Easykart 60 Academy: the young driver protagonists in Cremona too
Despite the less-than-ideal conditions, the Academy's baby drivers were protagonists in the paddock, with the briefing held by Instructor Sabino De Castro and with the test sessions on the track. At the end of the weekend, they climbed onto the podium in Cremona together with the drivers of the other categories.

The curtain falls on the 2024 Easykart season, eleven months of practices, qualifying sessions, races and emotions experienced all together. A record season, not only thanks to the number of participants, but thanks to also everything that enriched the mere competition on track. Starting from how we told the entire season: in addition to the classic news on the easykart.it website and the confirmation of the Easybook, the management of social media has been strengthened with the creation of new multimedia content such as reels and tiktoks to follow the trends of the moment. Our reality has been told from another perspective with The Pass – Track Talks, the presence on TV with Go-TV has been confirmed and for the first time there was the participation of a “kart influencer”, Davide Cugini. We also experienced more moments together, thanks to major events such as the Ap-Easy, the party at the International Finals and the awards ceremony held on November 22nd in Lissone (which will be broadcast on channel 68 and in live streaming on the website www.go-tv.org on Sunday December 8th at 8 pm).

A season that was a record-breaking one thanks to all of you, protagonists of our great family: the drivers, who with their races made us excited, each member of all the teams, all the relatives, friends, boyfriends/girlfriends and all those who in various ways made this year unforgettable.

The winter break is about to approach, but we will see each other again soon at the racetracks for new adventures and emotions to experience and to tell.

That's all for the track action this year. Stay racing, stay happy... and think Easy!
