The national race of the Coppa ACI Sport Area Nord will take place at the kartodromo pavese on the weekend of 23-25 August in a single event, with authorized foreign participation. Registration closes on Monday 19 August.

After hosting both the sixth round of the Easykart Trophy and the second round of the Rotax Max Challenge Italia in its Driver Cup at the end of July, the 7 Laghi Kart International Circuit continues with its summer commitments. In fact, the Pavia facility will conclude the month of August with another prestigious event: the ACI Sport Area Cup.

With a single competition scheduled for each of the five different areas, this single-stage national race will be dedicated to Northern Italy, including seven regions: Friuli Venezia Giulia, Liguria, Lombardy, Piedmont, Trentino Alto Adige, Valle d'Aosta and Veneto. The federal categories taking centre stage in the competition organised by 7 Laghi Kart and branded ACI Karting will be: MINI Gr.3 Under 10, MINI Gr.3, OK-N Junior, OK-N, KZ2, KZN Rookie, Under and Over (with a separate classification for drivers over 50). The same classes that have already put on a show on the 7 Laghi Kart International Circuit at the beginning of March for the first round of the Coppa Italia di Zona 1 will therefore return to the track.

Participation in the event is reserved for drivers who have competed at least two races of the Coppa Italia di Zona in their own Zone.

The curtain will rise on Friday 23 August with the first free practice sessions and participants will be able to begin preparing for the qualifying session, which will precede the two finals: Race 1 and Race 2.

In addition to the traditional awards that will see the first three classified in each category climb onto the podium, at the end of the two races a general ranking will be drawn up for each class, resulting from the sum of the points earned in each of the two finals. The first ten classified in these general rankings will acquire the right to access the ACI Sport Champions Cup (with the exception of drivers with foreign licenses, who will only be entitled to honorary prizes), which will take place at the end of the season on November 3 in Battipaglia.

The event that will take place in Castelletto di Branduzzo therefore has all the prerequisites to welcome a great variety of participants, from the youngest drivers taking their first steps in the world of karting to the more experienced ones competing for other successes on the national territory.

The GO-KARTv cameras will represent an additional added value, as they will film the action on Sunday and then broadcast the races on Sky Channel 229 and invite the protagonists to the GO-TV Channel television studios.

To participate in the Coppa ACI Sport Area Nord, it is mandatory to register online, directly through the official website of the Circuito Internazionale 7 Laghi Kart:
https://bluarea.7laghikartitalia.it/.

Registrations close on Monday 19 August at 12:00 and on the website page dedicated to this single-stage national race, all the information relating to the event is also available: https://7laghikartitalia.it/magazine/coppa-aci-sport-area-nord-23-24-25-agosto-2024.

This consolidates the synergy between 7 Laghi Kart and ACI Sport, which recognizes the value of the Pavia circuit in the promotion and development of the sport of karting, both nationally and internationally.
