Nathan Tye and the Sodi Racing Team have been achieving podiums and top-level performances. For the fourth time this season, the British driver reached the podium in the OK-Junior category after an impressive performance in Zuera, Spain, during the Champions of the Future Euro Series: pole position in Timed Qualifying, five victories out of five in the Qualifying Heats and a second position in the Final after a constant battle in the leading group. The young driver and his Sodi-TM Racing kart took the lead of the series at the halfway point.

After a successful trip to the Portimao circuit in Portugal for the Sodikart brand, the Sodi Racing Team headed for Spain for the second of four events in one of the most challenging international competitions of the season, the Champions of the Future Euro Series. The first tests quickly confirmed the great form of the French team, who perfectly understood this fast track with a very technical section that highlights the qualities of the chassis.

Perfect Qualifying for Tye
As soon as Qualifying started, Nathan Tye created a gap of almost two tenths on his pursuers. The effectiveness of his equipment and the remarkable work of the Sodi Racing Team were confirmed in the Qualifying Heats, where the Briton achieved a clean sweep. "I couldn't have wished for more than five victories out of five," said a delighted Nathan. "With the team we have found the right balance for the difficult Zuera track. Having five wins in a row meant I could avoid taking any risks in the Super Heat and to be able to keep my pole position on the starting grid for the Final."

As soon as the Final started, Nathan Tye found himself under pressure from his rivals, who were determined to stop his domination. The first few laps saw a fierce battle within the leading group, accentuated by the slipstream phenomenon. "Just when he had lost the lead, another driver attacked him and their duel allowed the leader to extend his lead," said Mansel Smith, Sodi Racing Team manager. "He then kept up a very strong pace, but was unable to recover his position. He wasn't missing much to have been able to win this race. These two 2nd places in a row allow him to lead the Euro Series by 25 points. I want to congratulate Nathan, our technical staff and GFR Engines for their TM engines. Race after race, we confirm our very high level of performance. After the top five in OK-Junior at the opening of the FIA Karting European Championship, we are very confident for the next round of the Championship which will take place in Zuera."

Sodikart and the Trèfle Racing team were also pleased with Adam Hideg's top 10 finish in his very first race on a Sodi-TM. The young Hungarian was very satisfied with his new equipment in Spain, managing to progress from 15th to 10th place in the Final.
