Vortex: bronze medal at the “COTF” in Kristianstad

OTK Kart Group's ‘engine division’ scores a podium in the fourth round of the Champions of the Future Euro Series in Sweden, with Scott Marsh (Tony Kart Racing Team) third position in OKJ class with the VTJ unit.

OKJ – In a category with an extraordinary 98 drivers at the start, the VTJ engine once again reaches the podium in the final. Already in the qualifyings, Vortex engines occupy the top positions, with Ilie Tristan Crisan (Tony Kart Racing Team) second in Group 2 and Joel Pohjola (Tony Kart Racing Team) third in Group 1. The results are furthermore enriched with two victories, two second places, two third places and a fastest lap in the following qualifying heats. Scott Marsh (Tony Kart Racing Team) finally wins the Saturday morning's B Super Heat.

From the second row on the grid, Marsh keeps his position at the start of the final and, after a few laps, gains the second position in the standings. In the second half of the race, the British driver perfectly manages his tires wear gaining the third place at the finish line.

Pohjola recovers five positions from the start and finishes eighth, while Crisan is the third driver in the standings with the Vortex engine. The general ranking goes on with Oliver Rasmussen (Tony Kart Racing Team) and Thomas Pradier (Tony Kart Racing Team).

OK - Stunning numbers in the ‘Senior’ category in Sweden, with 100 entries in the fourth round of the championship. Despite the high challenge, the VTS engine is constantly at the top of the ranking with David Walther (Tony Kart Racing Team). The Danish driver in fact collects four top-5 positions in the five eliminatory heats and finishes the Saturday's B Super Heat in third position, after being the third fastest driver in the morning warm-up. Thanks to a good performance, Walther finishes sixth in the final closing the weekend, which also see Tiziano Monza (Tony Kart Racing Team) and Xavier Avramides (Tony Kart Racing Team) involved.
