In the second round of the FIA European Karting Championship at Aunay-les-Bois, Freddie Slater wins the OKJ class final but is penalized after the race. In the OK category, Severiukhin jumps from second place and comes close to the podium.

OK - Vortex starts the weekend in the master class of single speed karts with excellent results. The DST engine obtains the best time in the qualifying heats of group 3 with Artem Severiukhin (Ward Racing) which, in the collective ranking means a third place. The Russian driver of the Ward Racing, during the qualifying heats, also gets a win and a second place: enough to secure the first row for the final of Sunday afternoon. Other positive results arrive during the eliminatory heats: Luigi Coluccio (Kosmic Racing Department) is twice third; Joseph Turney (Tony Kart Racing Team) scores a second and a third place; Andrey Zhivnov (Ward Racing) gets a podium; finally, Bruno Del Pino (Tony Kart Racing Team) signs a fast lap. These performances lead to 11 Vortex engines at the starting grid of Sunday's final, practically a third of the participants. Severiukhin performs well throughout the race and finishes close to the podium, with Coluccio finishing among the top ten. Eemeli Koivisto (Koski Motorsport) just misses the top 10, just ahead of Del Pino author of a comeback of 8 positions. Good comeback (+ 6 positions) also for Edoardo Villa (Exprit Racing Team) who precedes, continuing with the ranking, Turney, Rintaro Sato (Ricky Flynn Motorsport) and Norton Andreasson (Ward Racing). Arthur Rogeon (Ward Racing) and Caspian Hagman (Ward Racing) had to stop.

OKJ – Since the free practice already it is a Vortex DJT engine dominating the "Junior" class. Freddie Slater (Ricky Flynn Motorsport) signs the fastest times in the two free practice sessions and repeats his performance also in the qualifying with the pole position. On his home circuit, Arthur Poulain (Kosmic Racing Department) is also fast and obtains the first place in his qualifying group, getting a fourth place in the collective ranking. Slater continues his way with 5 victories out of 5 qualifying heats, but also other drivers contribute to obtain important results for Vortex: Poulain wins in one heat and gets two third places; Maksimilian Popov (Ward Racing) gets a second place and a fast lap; Alexander Gubenko (Tony Kart Racing Team) and August Therbo (Ward Racing) both sign a fast lap; Maxim Rehm (Ricky Flynn Motorsport) and James Egozi (Tony Kart Racing Team), on the other hand, enrich the success with a podium each. In a final that sees not less than 12 Vortex engines out of 36 participants at the start, Slater jumps well from pole position and leads the race undisturbed until the chequered flag. Unfortunately, the British driver is penalized by 10 seconds for a manoeuvre deemed irregular and does not win, but nevertheless retains the first place in the championship. Popov finishes just five tenths of a second off the podium, while Egozi and Eyckmans are the authors of a series of fast laps: the two drivers climb 11 and 9 positions respectively, finishing in sixth and seventh place, moreover they are the only ones able to drop below 48 seconds, with the two best timings of the final. Poulain ends his race in the top 10 while Krapin, with 12 positions recovered, slips into the best 15. Scrolling down the ranking, in order, we find Gubenko, Therbo and Dion Gowda (Ricky Flynn Motorsport). Rehm, Jan Przyrowski (Tony Kart Racing Team) and Harley Keeble (Tony Kart Racing Team) leave the race prematurely.
