In a landmark move to solidify the future of two of the most significant names in karting, the American Kart Track Promoters Association (AKTPA) has officially acquired the operations of TAGUSA and TAG International. This transition comes after the passing of long-time business partner Dave Larson, leaving a path forward to continue the legacy of the companies founded under the vision of the late Tom Argy Sr.

Marty Casey, who has been deeply involved with and the figure of TAGUSA and TAG International brands, expressed his satisfaction with the transition, stating: "I'm pleased that an agreement has been reached with Tim Wilkerson to acquire TAGUSA and TAG International. With the passing of business partner Dave Larson, I felt this was the best for both companies. The concept of TAG was a dream of the late Tom Argy Sr. over 27 years ago, which led to both companies being started. It’s been an incredible journey. Both Dave and I embraced Tom Argy Sr.'s dream, and it will carry on with Tim and his companies."

Tim Wilkerson, a recognized leader in the karting industry and now head of both TAGUSA and TAG International, also shared his thoughts on the future of these iconic brands: "Taking on the operations of TAGUSA and TAG International is an incredible honor. The legacy of Tom Argy Sr. is one of passion, dedication, and innovation, and it’s a responsibility that I take with great pride.
