A large number of drivers around the world will continue to use LeCont tyres in 2025, benefiting from the Italian manufacturer's high technology. This was already the case from 22nd to 26th January for the opening round of the WSK Super Master Series. Intense and exciting to follow, the first major international meeting of the season was a great success. On the demanding La Conca circuit in southern Italy, LeCont tyres in the OK category fully satisfied the drivers and teams.
With LeCont, the 20th WSK season is underway
LeCont is proud to have entered into a new partnership with WSK Promotion in 2025, and would like to thank Luca De Donno and his team for their confidence. LeCont also congratulates them on the 20th season and the success which continues year after year. Throughout the WSK Super Master Series (five rounds), the WSK Euro Series (two rounds) and the WSK Final Cup (three rounds), LeCont supports these top-class events from January to November.
Absolute fastest time for OK with LeCont
From Mini to KZ2, several categories were represented in the Lecce region and Spaniard Christian Costoya set the meeting lap record of 45"970 in one of the Qualifying Heats. In the Final, Great Britain's Zac Green came very close with a time of 45"974. Proof that the Italian tyres once again demonstrated their very high level of performance, and also their consistency, which is something the teams appreciate when it comes to working with confidence. The weather was occasionally cool or damp, but that didn't stop the LeCont tyres from delivering their full potential.
A spectacular OK Final won by Zac Drummond
Leader at the start of the Final, Belgian Dries Van Langendonck quickly found himself under pressure from his rivals. First he gave way to the British driver Zac Drummond, who went on to win with flying colours. After being pushed around on the first lap, Spaniard Christian Costoya put in a great effort to come back to 2nd place. Passed by Italians Sebastiano Pavan and Iacopo Martinese, Van Langendonck finally managed to complete the podium. At the end of the race, Great Britain's Zac Green moved into 4th place ahead of Martinese and Pavan, while setting the fastest lap. The WSK Super Master Series 2025, which brought together 226 drivers of 47 nationalities at La Conca, promises to be another great series.
