TKART Staff
25 January 2024

With 33 confirmed drivers, the official CRG Team promises to be one of the biggest and most competitive for the 2024 international karting season. The CRG Racing Team, which, as announced last December, will be coordinated from a technical and organisational point of view by Natalia Balbo and Brandon Nilsson, will be able to count on a mix of experienced drivers and ambitious young ones in all categories. In the wake of the successes and competitiveness of the past season, 2024 begins with great expectations and promises to be an exciting racing season, in which the FIA Karting events (European Championships and World Championships for the KZ, OK and OK Junior categories) will be the focus in terms of sporting goals. CRG has also confirmed a direct commitment in the Mini class with a team that will focus on the WSK races and the Italian Championship, also managing some drivers in the OK-N Junior category.

Going in order, in the KZ top class CRG confirmed last year's team by renewing the agreement with Jeremy Iglesias, Viktor Gustavsson and Arthur Carbonnel, like in KZ2 Paavo Tonteri has been confirmed and will also be joined by Gabriel Gomez (committed in a double program between KZ2 and OK), Filippo Fiorentino, Alvar Siimesvaara and Jan Luka Worthmann. As regards the Shifter categories, CRG has also renewed the motorsport partnership with TM and Gianfranco Galiffa.

Gabriel Gomez has been confirmed in the OK category and will be joined by Markas Silkunas, Jacob Micallef, Guillaume Bouzar, Louis Iglesias, Tom Dussol, Hugo Martiniello, Santino Panetta, Michael Ider and Mark Dubnitski. In the direct-drive top class, CRG will use Iame engines with on-track assistance by Nicola Boscaini's BM Engines.

In the OK Junior category, CRG will line-up 7 drivers: Sakai Ryutaro, Manuel Miguez, Vanesa Silkunaite, Asher Ochstein, François Kerdal, Oliver Rasmussen and Augusto Toniolo. In this category, the engines for the official team will be the TM ones managed by Machac Motors.

As for the OK-N Junior category, Adam Bryla and Oliver Zwinger will represent the CRG colours in the 2024 season.

Finally, the Mini team will consist of Matteis Stigsen, Enzo Stambaugh, Jason Kosmopoulos, Ludvig Bjaroy, Giada Vanigioli and Robin Räikkönen. The son of the former F1 Champion Kimi Räikkönen represents one of the most interesting novelties of the 2024 CRG MINI program. After having gained some experience in the MINI Rotax, again with CRG colours, this year Robin will debut in a series of selected races of the WSK and the Italian Championship. As for the engines, the TM ones by Salemi will be used in the Mini class.

The programs of the individual drivers will include participation in all FIA Karting events, the Champions of the Future for the direct-drive classes and a selection of WSK events. The first significant commitment for a selection of official drivers will already be this week with the 1st Round of the WSK Super Master Series scheduled on the Lonato track.
