SILICONE ON EXHAUST SPRINGS

Retiring in a race due to engine failure is hard to take, but it can happen. However, if the part that causes the retirement is a spring that attaches the muffler to the engine... then the situation becomes less justifiable and anger can reach levels requiring censorship. To avoid all this from happening, just put a little silicone in the spring, which dampens the vibrations and prolongs the durability and good working order of the spring itself.

ADHESIVE TAPE TO PROTECT THE BRAKE DISC

How often do you hear that it’s the small tricks that make the difference? Never enough! That’s because the reality of the track is exactly that, especially when the conditions are more challenging, as in the event of rain and tarmac with little grip. In those conditions, the readiness of the braking system is essential: to ensure this is the case, protect the brake disc using adhesive tape. The reason is simple: if the disc stays dry, when the brake pedal is pressed, the friction of the pads will be immediate and progressive. Vice versa, with the disc is wet, at first the brake will not respond, only subsequently increasing its grip with the risk of locking the rear end.
