Our technical analysis of kart tyres continues. After “Tech Talk | Kart tyres (pt. 1) - Technical and structural characteristics”, we tackle the second and final part of this article, focusing on the fundamental functional aspects to know and consider when it comes to kart tyres and how to get the most out of them. 

In fact, let's remember that tyres are the element that is able to achieve the greatest improvements (or worsening, in the event of mismanagement) in terms of performance. To give an example: in wet conditions, obtaining the right tyre pressure can gain tenths or even a second per lap compared to the competition. Obtaining the same result by acting, say, on the adjustment parameters of the engine or carburetor is practically impossible!
