Brake pads are obviously crucial for good braking performance. At the same time, they are components which get worn out, which must be constantly monitored. In fact, they are subjected to wear and tear and continuous thermal cycles of heating and cooling. After examining them, the question often arises as to whether they should be replaced or whether they can still be used (and for how long!). Or, if they need to be broken in, or again, if the pads stored in a garage for a long time can still be used.
