The Le Mans chassis is the model of the Parolin Racing Kart product range most suitable for the single-speed classes, although it is approved (and usable) for all classes. The new 2022 version of the chassis of the Italian manufacturers has the same shapes as the previous version. It is a "classic" design of the body, the result of the experience gained on the track by the Parolin Racing Team racing division, and an in-house research approach to fully improve both accessories and various parts of the chassis. Meticulous research, which involves materials, processes and treatments. All this to ensure a chassis that is both avant-garde and solid, as confirmed by the division, for the production of accessories, to prefer die-cast or extruded semi-finished products, rather than those obtained from the classic "solid piece", in favour of compactness and structural uniformity. In addition, Parolin Racing Kart produces most of the components of its karts in its own factory: this allows the company to have direct quality control, as well as to contain development times for each component. The new Le Mans chassis, which faithfully follows the angles and measurements of its previous version (read here the article dedicated to the 2015 model year "
Under review - Parolin Le Mans: details matter", then evolved with a 2018 version by TKART, not analysed), is built with chromium-molybdenum steel tubes that are 30 mm in diameter and 2 mm thick, except for the front crossbar (the one that connects the front Cs) which is 32 mm in diameter and 2 mm thick. As often happens, however, we are not allowed to precisely know the alloy of the steel used, or the treatments to which the chassis are subjected to obtain their typical torsional behaviour. It should also be specified that Parolin does not foresee different versions of the Le Mans model, depending on the markets or countries in which it is sold.
