For the 2023-2025 FIA Karting homologation cycle (which concerns engines, carburetors, ignitions and intake silencers), TM Kart has updated its range of engines for the MINI 60cc Group 3 category, launching the new MINI 3 and MINI 3B models, built and homologated according to FIA Karting specifications. Since their debut, in early 2023, these engines have demonstrated reliability and high performance both in national competitions and international multi-brand events, such as the WSK Promotion competitions. This success has made them a popular choice among drivers aged between 8 and 12.
To learn more about the innovations introduced by TM Kart, we went to the company headquarters in Pesaro (Italy). The MINI 3 and MINI 3B models, while retaining many of the technical foundations of the MINI 2 (for more information, read "Under Review | MINI 2: the TM Racing 60 cc engine, homologated by CIK-FIA"), feature new solutions designed to improve power management and engine efficiency. The two MINI 3 and MINI 3B models are the same in many ways, but differ in some internal components, particularly in the connecting rods and the coupling system with the piston pin. For example, the connecting rod of the MINI 3, unlike that of the MINI B3B, is DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) treated. But that's not all, there's more.
