HOMOLOGATION
The Invader chassis has been FIA Karting homologated since 2018 under code 017-CH-99. For the new 2025 homologation cycle, Parolin Racing Kart has once again confirmed this model (as already done in 2022), extending its homologation validity until the end of 2027. Since 2018, FIA Karting regulations allow homologations to remain valid indefinitely, provided that the manufacturer pays an annual fee. CATEGORY
The chassis is homologated for use in both single speed and shifter configurations and is available in two variants that differ in tubing layout and bearing carrier design. Specifically, the shifter version of the Invader chassis is fitted with taller bearing carriers, a lower bracket for mounting the gear lever and a dedicated silencer mount. Thanks to its stiffer frame compared to its sibling model, the Parolin Le Mans, which features 30 mm diameter tubing, the Invader is generally better suited to shifter classes.

TUBE DIAMETER
The main chassis tubes—longerons and cross members—are made of a 32 mm diameter steel alloy with a minimum wall thickness of 2 mm. The reinforcement tubes and the steering and pedal mounts adopt dedicated cross-sections, each optimised for its specific application.

WELDING
Like all Parolin Racing Kart chassis, the Invader is manufactured using a fully automated welding process.

ACCESSORIES
All components are branded Eurostar, the accessories line by Parolin Racing Kart. They are manufactured from lightweight aluminium alloy, while hubs and rims are supplied as standard in magnesium.

June 2025 article update

As part of the new FIA Karting homologation cycle for chassis, which also includes brakes, bodywork and bumpers, and is valid for the 2025 to 2027 period, Parolin Racing Kart has confirmed the homologation of its flagship model for the shifter classes: the Invader. During the 2022 to 2024 homologation cycle, this chassis consistently proved its value on both national and international circuits, most notably by winning the 2024 FIA Karting European Championship KZ title. Building on these on-track achievements, which confirm the soundness of its design philosophy, Parolin Racing Kart has chosen to maintain both the frame geometry and the tubing specifications, with 32 millimetre diameter and 2 millimetre wall thickness, for the new homologation period. These remain key elements of the Invader’s performance and reliability. Nevertheless, technical evolution in karting is a constant process, and Parolin is fully aware of the need for continual improvement. For this reason, while preserving the proven construction concept, the company has introduced a number of targeted updates. These include changes to the chassis, especially in the height of the bearing carriers, and upgrades to standard equipment, most notably the new DY EVO front spoiler. These developments pursue a dual goal. On one side, they address the needs of drivers using harder compound tyres or racing on low grip circuits by providing greater traction. On the other, they enhance aerodynamic efficiency, improving the overall balance of the chassis. To explore how Parolin Racing Kart has worked to meet these objectives, and to discover the other innovations introduced by the Italian manufacturer, we visited the company’s headquarters in Romano d’Ezzelino, in the province of Vicenza, in north-eastern Italy, around 200 kilometres east of Milan.
