In the MINI chassis segment, one brand has taken a leading role internationally: Parolin by Parolin Racing Kart. At the core of this success is the Opportunity chassis, first launched in 2010 and, over the years, established as the benchmark in this class thanks to its race results and wide commercial reach. The model homologated in 2020 – the first to meet FIA Karting international standards and covered in detail in “Under Review | Opportunity 2020: the successful tradition of Mini karts from Parolin” – further reinforced this position, securing numerous titles at both national and international level. Among its most notable achievements are four consecutive victories in the WSK Super Master Series (2021 and 2022 in the MINI category, and 2023 and 2024 in MINI Gr.3), one of the most prestigious championships in the WSK Series, the international multi-brand competitions promoted by WSK Promotion. Building on these results, and with the new FIA Karting Group 3 homologation cycle 2025–2027 (covering chassis, braking systems, bodywork and bumpers for MINI karts), Parolin Racing Kart now presents the Opportunity M.Y. 2025. The frame – long recognised as the model’s strong point for its ability to adapt to any grip condition – remains unchanged, while the updates focus on the components supplied as standard. The main innovations involve the bodywork, with the new DY-EVO MINI front spoiler and the DYNAMICA-EVO front fairing. The bearing housings have also been redesigned, now produced with an updated process to improve strength. Other updates complete the package, aiming to enhance component reliability, adjustment options and the overall balance of the chassis.
To examine the new Opportunity 2025 in detail, we went to the place where it all takes shape: the Parolin Racing Kart headquarters in Romano d’Ezzelino (Vicenza province, North-East Italy), about 200 km east of Milan.
