HOMOLOGATION

The Ramses chassis is certified with approval number 002-CH-25 starting from the 2022 season. The new FIA Karting regulations introduced in 2018 provides that new approvals last indefinitely, provided that an annual fee is paid (To go into more detail "Dossier | FIA approvals: what they are, what they are for, how long they last... the definitive guide!").

SHIFTER

CONFIGURATION The Ramses model is approved both for use as a Direct-Drive and Shifter, but, given the structure and shape of the body, it is more suitable for classes with a gearbox. The version that we analyse in this article.

2022 was a year with much innovation for the Lenzokart brand which launched an innovative braking system on the market, an update of the LK-Electric range (for more information read, "First Analysis | Cayman LK-Electric m.y.'23: a true mini by racing Lenzokart, but with electric propulsion”) and… The protagonist of this “Under Examination”, the Ramses. This is the new Lenzokart branded chassis, CIK-FIA 033-CH-10 approved for the two-year period 2022-2023, dedicated in particular to the Shifter classes (this is why we analyse it in this version), designed taking as a reference point (a level of geometries and production methods) the FX1 Evo model. The Ramses, therefore, is not a break with the Italian company's chassis tradition, but rather an evolution. In the development of this model, the technicians, led by the owner Michele Lenzo, focused on the contribution of various structural refinements with the aim of ensuring the right balance between body flexibility, versatility of use and ease of adjustment of the chassis geometries.

Thanks to the support of Lenzokart, we were able to analyse the Ramses closely and find out everything there is to know about this new chassis: from the production processes, to the structural choices made for the body, up to the discovery of those solutions that ensure a wide range of uses. Like the new LFK 13 braking system and pedals with folding brackets.
