The third test took place at the Kartodromo Cremona Circuit after those carried out in Franciacorta and Sarno. The Iame, TM, Modena and Vortex engine manufacturers were present. The two OKN and OKN-J categories are now defined, soon the publication of the technical regulations.

The test that ACI Sport organized at the Kartodromo Cremona Circuit in collaboration with FIA Karting for the OKN and OKN-J engines was successfully completed. The 4 engine manufacturers who submitted homologation for OKN and, specifically, IAME, TM, MODENA and VORTEX, were present.

The test was aimed at verifying the performance of the 4 engines, which for the occasion were equipped as follows:
- IAME with KR chassis
- TM with PAROLIN chassis
- MODENA with DR chassis
- VORTEX with TONY KART chassis

The performance of all engines was evaluated in both the OKN and OKN-J versions, which differed from the first for the weight (145kg for the OKN-J and 155kg for the OKN) and for the exhaust manifold with outlet diameter of 26mm for the OKN-J.

For both categories, 24mm diaphragm carburettors were used (2 screws and 2 jets, for which the FIA has established a maximum price ceiling of € 200 + VAT) and Option compound tires approved by FIA.

The difference in performance between the 2 categories is satisfactory and, in absolute terms, was appreciated by the test drivers called for the occasion by the manufacturers to test their engines.

The technical characteristics of both categories are therefore defined. The work that ACI Sport carried out in collaboration with FIA Karting was decisive, with today's test in Cremona and the previous tests carried out in Franciacorta in July and in Sarno in September, which led to the definition of these 2 new categories, which are a step below the OK and OKJ with the aim of welcoming drivers who want to gain experience before jumping to the higher categories.

Everything is therefore ready to go and the Technical Regulations of both categories will be published shortly. Below is a diagram of the differences from a technical point of view:
