Lots of show and overtakes for the penultimate race of the championship.

The sixth and penultimate round of the Easykart Trophy, held at night at the South Garda Karting in Lonato, was pure emotion: the 114 drivers on the track gave away another day full of side-by-side duels, overtakes and many emotions.

At the end of the hostilities, the winners were: Andrii Kruglyk (Easykart 60), Pietro Santese (Easykart 100), Francesco Ruga (Easykart 125) and Valentino Baracco (BMB Challenge).

60 Easykart: Andrii Kruglyk hits the fourth success of the season
Andrii Kruglyk returned to the top step of the podium, a flag to flag victory for the Ukrainian driver: after winning the Sprint Race, Kruglyk had to sweat seven shirts in the final with Gioele Girardello, managing to win at the last corner. Behind him a fantastic David Davoli, third Nicolas De Bortoli. Gioele Girardello, penalised by 5" and therefore fourth, as well as author of the pole position, and Lillian Rolencova, in fifth position, go on the enlarged podium.

100 Easykart: Pietro Santese wins!
Great triumph for Pietro Santese in the night of Lonato. Starting from pole position thanks to the victory in the Sprint Race, Santese first saw the return of his opponents, but then returned to the lead of the race and remained firmly in command until the finish line. Second place for Leonardo Marogna, third for Gabriel Cuoco. The author of the pole position, Nicolas Ari, had to settle for fourth place, while David Ostapenko moved up to fifth position.

125 Easykart: first triumph of the year for Francesco Ruga
It was Francesco Ruga who crossed the finish line in first place in the most uncertain Final of the day: Ruga maintained the leadership for all 18 laps, but in the final kilometres he had to contain the return of Alessio Guazzaroni, second by just 0.278s. On the lowest step of the podium Andrea Torello. Ruga was also the author of the pole position and the victory in the Sprint Race, thus conquering the hat trick of the day! Saturday to forget, instead, for Marco Sertore, leader of the Senior category, forced to retire.

BMB Challenge: Valentino Baracco triumphs in Lonato!
An extraordinary comeback of thirteen positions for Valentino Baracco: starting from 14th, Baracco did not lose heart and immediately began to recover on all the others, taking the lead of the race only a couple of laps from the end. Behind him Giuseppe Gaglianò, third Daniele D'Urso. First pole position in the category for Mattia Vischi, who triumphed in the Sprint Race with more than a two-second advantage on all the others.

60 Academy: their run for the true racing debut continues
Magical nights, chasing a win. The baby drivers also took to the track for the Lonato night with their traditional format: the briefing with the instructor Sabino De Castro, followed by the race phases on the track - pursuing the dream of really debuting in a race and accomplishing the same feats as their older brothers in the upper categories.

The Easykart Circus is now on vacation: we will meet again on the track on September 16 and 17 on the International Circuit "7 Laghi Kart" in Castelletto di Branduzzo (Pavia) for the highly anticipated last round and we will find out who will be the champions of the Easykart Trophy 2023.

Stay racing, stay happy… and think Easy!
